This work was born from Raison d’être, a project to create songs based on legendary creatures illustrated by Nou, an illustrator.

The track was composed by Kairiki Bear, the composer behind numerous hit songs such as “Darling Dance” and “Venom,” and was released in June 2023.

The theme is the familiar “werewolf” from board games, and the lyrics are filled with words that evoke that image.

The distorted chorus is particularly striking, sonically expressing a chaotic space of deception and being deceived.
