Because I Won’t Let Go / feat. Stardust Infinity
Because I won't let go, by Kasamura Tota

Even after a heartbreak, there are likely people who still don’t want to part ways with the other person.

A song that gives voice to those feelings is “I Won’t Let Go.” This piece was released by Toa Kasamura.

Set across various situations, it’s a track that portrays the longing for someone from whom you’ve been separated.

The chorus consists of simple, repeated phrases, but that very simplicity fuels the imagination.

Try listening while reflecting on your own feelings and experiences.

Yonjūnana (Forty-Seven) - Tried Singing [Ribu]
Forty-Seven Mikito-P

This is a song that portrays the story depicted in “Sarishinohara” from another perspective.

It tells the love between an idol and an ordinary man, sung from the idol’s point of view.

Despite the pain, she puts on a smile and keeps going, crying out with a heart that feels like it’s cracking.

I hope you’ll listen to it together with the other related songs.

[Megurine Luka] Last Song with Subtitles
Last Song by fatmanP

A heartbreaking breakup song by fatmanP, with illustrations by Betega.

We loved each other, yet we broke up… I hated it, but there was nothing I could do.

That painfully poignant opening brings tears to your eyes.

Staying lovers requires both hearts.

Once one heart drifts away, there’s nothing left to be done.

Being left behind alone must feel like your chest is about to burst.

Give it a listen when you’re going through a breakup.

Give me a song of love that can never be fulfilled. Passion EditionTeam Kamiuta

Sing to me a song of a love that can never come true. Passion Edition / Team Kamiuta feat. Kagamine Rin
Give me a song of a love that can never be fulfilled. Passion Edition - Team Kamiuta

Sung by Rin, this is a work by Team Kamiuta.

As the title suggests, it straightforwardly voices the frustration and irritation of a love that, from the outset, has already been decided to end.

You can also feel the desperate struggle to fight within that inner conflict.

The stance of describing unrequited love as “my own fault” carries both a refreshing honesty and a quiet sadness at the same time.

Hatsune Miku - Love and Sorrow [Original PV]
Love and Sorrow Regulus

This is a song posted in 2012 by Regulus, who is known for ballads.

Hatsune Miku’s emotive vocals are outstanding, and the piano melody makes it a beautifully crafted piece.

The tear-jerking lyrics, which many teenage girls can relate to, are especially memorable.

Refreshing – Melting August feat. Hatsune Miku
refreshing enough to melt August

Sawayaka, who has been posting songs on YouTube since 2023, released their second track, “Melting August.” It’s a mid-tempo ballad featuring Hatsune Miku, crafted to portray the faint memories of summer days.

If you check it together with the music video, you’ll see that the song depicts feelings of first love from a boy’s perspective.

The nostalgic imagery and unfolding story are highlights, too.

The inclusion of sounds like melting ice and ocean waves is also a lovely touch.

[Heart-wrenching] Vocaloid break-up songs. Timeless painful-love classics (91–100)

1LDKneko-men (cat mask)

It’s a breakup song that puts on a brave face, saying “This is fine.” It’s a track by Vocaloid producer Nekomens, released in 2020.

The lo-fi sound arrangement is striking, with a reverb-soaked guitar tone that echoes forlornly.

The melancholy of the piano solo is also deeply moving.

Although the song is very quiet, judging from the protagonist’s feelings woven into the lyrics, it still sounds like they’re pretending to be strong.

Perhaps the simplicity of the arrangement comes from suppressing their true emotions.
