Vocaloid Love Song Special [Heart-throbbing, Tear-jerking, etc.] (261–270)
Darling, darlingmerokuru

Merokuru’s “Darling Darling” is a song bursting with retro, pop charm.
Released on November 23, 2024, it expresses an earnest longing for love through a catchy melody and Karin Natsuiro’s cute vocals.
Wanting to meet your destined person, yet things just don’t go that smoothly… The feelings reflected in the lyrics are ones many have likely experienced, and should especially resonate with teens.
Give it a listen and let it put you in a romantic mood!
EmNaisho no piasu

A dramatic and emotional KAFU track that sings of drowning love.
This work by Vocaloid producer Naisho no Pierce, released in February 2025.
The progression from a quiet opening to an intro where the emotions explode is electrifying.
It leaves the impression of mature elegance and coolness rushing in at the same time.
The lyrics distill a destructive desire: “I want to be messed up by the one I love.” If you listen while comparing the lyrics with the related song “S,” your understanding of the worldbuilding will deepen even further!
Sayeru StarVivid Lila

This song tells a fantastical love story spun beneath a starry sky.
Created by Vivid Lila, it originally featured a version sung by Tsukino on the album “Astro Memorize,” released in October 2022.
This is the Tsukine voice library version.
The clear, translucent vocals harmonize with the heartrending lyrics to deeply move the listener.
The unfulfilled wishes and thoughts for a former lover woven into the lyrics tighten the chest.
Listen while gazing up at the night sky, and it’s sure to leave a lingering resonance.
Almond dopenamiguru

A danceable track where a beat that makes your body sway is interwoven with funky guitar and piano.
This piece, for which Namigure released a music video in August 2025, originally appeared on the compilation album “cut(e) vol.2 Kawaii Cutting.” The theme is “a young woman’s unfulfilled heart after once knowing fulfillment,” skillfully portraying a precarious blend of romantic intoxication and anxiety—like sweet almond tofu laced with just a hint of poison.
There’s also a brilliant section that expresses the panic of “What if the person I like starts to dislike me?” using a single chord.
Be sure to check out the versions sung by Wakabayashi and Myomyo as well!

Passion!Ichinose Rupo

A Kagamine Rin song that vividly portrays the tremors of a heart in love.
Created by Rupo Ichinose, the video was released in 2024.
It briskly sings of the push and pull between wanting the person you love to notice you—and not wanting them to notice.
This gem fuses bittersweet, awkward feelings with an energetic beat.
Listening to it will make you relate to the fluttering excitement and hints of romance just before White Day!
The Sea of Formalindeddobōru P

It’s supposed to be a song about love from a past life.
You’ll understand why it’s “supposed to be” once you listen to it.
This track is by Deadball-P, a Vocaloid producer admired not only for the quality of his music but also for his character.
The powerful sonic presence and dramatic song development are particularly striking.
Mysterious Illnesstsubaki

This is a track released in June 2025 by Vocaloid producer Tsubaki, featuring Kaai Yuki as the vocalist.
It’s also included on the compilation album “Asreality.” You can’t help but smile at the pure girl who believes her pounding heart is a “mysterious illness.” The cool sound and the charming, love-struck worldview are perfectly in sync, making it a track you’ll want to play on repeat.
Be sure to enjoy it together with the animated music video!
