I’ve worked in a variety of roles—regardless of pro or amateur settings—including live event PA, cameraman for video and photography, restaurant staff, and logistics center staff. I now spend my days as a part-time writer. Composed by WAKUTO, it was released in November 2025.

It tells the story of a heroine who’s fed up with reading and lessons, whose longing for the world she saw in picture books grows and grows, until she finally slips out of the castle and claims her freedom.

The sound brims with pure excitement and thrills, and the lyrics revel in newfound freedom, making your heart dance.

It’s a song I want you to hear if you’ve been feeling that everyday life just isn’t enough.

“Clock Lock Works” is a work released under the name Hachi, the Vocaloid producer alias of Kenshi Yonezu, a singer-songwriter active at the top of the Japanese music scene.

Published in November 2009, its whimsical, fantastical world instantly captured listeners’ hearts and quickly joined the ranks of popular songs.

Beyond the track itself, the animated music video by Minakata Laboratory also drew attention.

In the chorus, Miku playing the bass moves incredibly smoothly.

It has the feel of a nursery rhyme with a hint of darkness, a quality that connects to Yonezu’s current style.

It’s a track by PinocchioP, a composer who remains at the forefront of the Vocaloid scene and hardly needs an introduction, released in May 2023.

It’s included on his sixth album, META, released the same year.

While it’s a poppy, upbeat song, the lyrics—asking for kindness when you mess up—also feel like a cynical message to modern society.

That blend of the pure and the impure is exactly what defines the PinocchioP world.

The title “Cardia” comes from Greek for “heart.” Drawn by its myth-like worldview, you can feel your emotions stirred by its strong-willed message.
