Kanto Winter Festival Information [2026]: Must-See Events for Music Lovers

Bridge Fes is a three-day festival with the tagline “Riding the waves of sound to connect the world,” bringing together artists across genres—music, comedy, spoken word—and championing the theme of “connecting people through art.” The venue is Fuchu no Mori Geijutsu Gekijo Furusato Hall in Fuchu City, Tokyo, where you can enjoy live performances and exhibits by personalities and artists from FM 8.4 MHz Radio TAMA River. Urayasu Ongaku Mura is one of the largest music festival events in Urayasu, held at the Urayasu Civic Plaza Wave101, where citizen musicians from across the city gather. The three halls inside the venue are imagined as Music Village Districts 1 through 3, showcasing a wide variety of genres from rock to acoustic singer-songwriters. There is also a program where the top act at each venue, chosen by audience vote, earns a spot to perform in “Machikado Live & Communication U-Style ~Music Village Special~.” The 12th edition is scheduled to take place in February 2026.

Yachiyo Music Festa is a community-driven music event held annually in Yachiyo City, Chiba Prefecture. A distinctive feature is that the Yachiyo City Regional Promotion Foundation and the YMF Executive Committee select performers and staff through an open call and manage everything independently from planning to production. Building on over 30 years of history since its predecessor, the Yachiyo Rock Festival, the event will be held with free admission at the Yachiyo City Citizens’ Hall Grand Theater on February 22, 2026, serving as a platform that supports the region’s musical culture.

This is a music event in Tako, Chiba Prefecture, bringing together artists with ties to Latin America. Organized by the Tako Town Tourism and Community Development Organization, the fourth edition will, for the first time, be held entirely outdoors, unlike in previous years. The venue will be the parking lot of the Tako Town Gymnasium, featuring a variety of booths including live music, food and drink, and handicrafts. The event will also include the Sicu Read—Bolivia’s traditional music parade centered on the zampoña (panpipes). Admission is free. Scheduled for February 2026.
