Its lyrics tell a story about forging ahead by believing in yourself without worrying about opposition from others, and the melody is crafted to match that theme with a soulful feel.
Hrs & HrsMuni Long
Muni Long is a female singer who has gained tremendous popularity in the R&B scene of the 2020s.
She originally worked as a music producer, providing songs for many artists, but since the 2020s she has actively pursued a career as a singer as well, and is now recognized as one of the defining voices of the scene.
Among her works, the track I especially recommend is Hrs & Hrs.
It’s one of her signature songs, delivering a stylish and sensual R&B sound throughout.
HeroGene Shinozaki
Gene Shinozaki, a beatboxer from the United States.
He’s a Japanese American and fluent in Japanese, so he’s well known among beatbox enthusiasts in Japan.
Among his works, the especially cool track is “Hero.” Released after he competed in the 2021 global beatbox championship, GBB, it caused a big stir in the beatbox scene thanks to its high musicality.
The second drop in particular—where he deliberately holds back the beat—is incredibly stylish and cool.

Monsieur Nov is an R&B singer from France.
A French artist of Vietnamese descent, he has remained at the forefront of the French R&B scene from the 2010s to today.
