A Compilation of Western Songs with Titles Starting with 'E' (371–380)

EnemiesPost Malone

A song by Post Malone that was a massive hit worldwide, literally titled “Enemy.” The lyrics are profoundly deep, and imagining the feelings embedded in this track gives it a strong sense of melancholy.

Of course, the track and rap are excellent, but Post Malone’s hallmark literary lyricism may also feel familiar and accessible to Japanese listeners who value lyrics.

Priya Ragu is a singer-songwriter from Switzerland.

Her track “Easy” is a smooth R&B number with an addictive, distinctive rhythm.

Debuting in 2020 with “Good Love 2.0,” she’s drawn attention for her groovy style, and this song showcases that strength to the fullest.

Notably, the cool, chillout-like production pairs perfectly with her sophisticated vocals.

With a touch of bluesy atmosphere, this track would be a great fit for a nighttime drive.

The music of Public Service Broadcasting, a London-based group from the UK, is characterized by a distinctive sound that skillfully weaves in samples from historical public information films.

This work is a grand, cinematic track inspired by Amelia Earhart, expressing advances in aviation technology and a spirit of adventure through music.

Released in July 2024, the song appears on the album The Last Flight.

Their work has received high acclaim, with their 2015 album The Race for Space achieving Gold certification in the UK.

It’s a highly recommended track for those interested in history and science, as well as anyone seeking an original musical experience.

EmotionPurple Disco Machine

Purple Disco Machine is the project of German music producer Tino Piontek.

As the name suggests, he’s known for a disco-centered sound, and he helped spark the revival boom.

Among Purple Disco Machine’s works, the track with an especially cool bass is Emotion.

The bass isn’t necessarily the main focus, but it steadily lays down a slick riff in the background.

Definitely give it a listen.

Queens of the Stone Age – “Emotion Sickness”
Emotion SicknessQueens of the Stone Age

Queens of the Stone Age’s latest lead single, “Emotion Sickness,” led by Josh Homme, channels an unprecedented momentum while still letting a hint of heartache seep through.

It feels as if complex emotions kept close to the chest are conveyed through the guitar strings—sharp, yet somehow warm.

Behind it all, it seems, lies Josh’s personal drama of going through a divorce.

Once you recognize the depth of their music, you can’t help but sense an artistry that sets it apart from mere hard rock.

If you lend this track your ear, your heart may be stirred—only to end up, somehow, comforted in the end.

EnergyRAAHiiM

Rahim, a new-generation artist from Canada, made his debut at 17 and has continued to produce hit songs ever since.

One of the tracks on his album “BUT IF iiM HONEST” is “Energy.” It’s an R&B song that showcases Rahim’s high-tone vocals.

I hope you’ll be captivated by his sweet voice and romantic lyrics.

Since the song’s lyrics focus on the bond between two people, it would also make a great dedication to someone special.

Born in 1997, RAY is a singer-songwriter from the UK.

A graduate of the renowned BRIT School—the prestigious artist-training institution that produced mega-stars like Amy Winehouse and Adele—she was highly regarded for her talent from her teenage years.

However, it wasn’t until February 2023 that she released her long-awaited debut full-length album, My 21st Century Blues, and it came out independently.

The album, crafted outside the major-label system, is superb and well worth checking out, but here we’re focusing on its lead single, Escapism, which reached No.

1 in the UK.

Featuring American rapper 070 Shake from New Jersey, the track stands out stylistically from much of the album, but its sleek, contemporary production—blending elements of R&B, electropop, and hip-hop with finesse—is seriously cool.

Pay attention as well to the striking contrast created by the two artists’ distinctly different vocal performances.
