MYA◎KUYuurei no kaikitan

This is a track themed around Myakumyaku, created by Yūrei no Kaikitan.
While rooted in electropop, it fuses a powerful sound for a dynamic finish.
Within its grand melody that evokes hope for the future, there’s a subtly mysterious resonance—that’s what makes it unique.
It conjures images of the heartbeat of life passed down through generations and the wisdom of humanity being woven into the future.
It’s an exhilarating song, perfect for when you want to let your thoughts drift toward the future.
The Song of MyakumyakuŌsaka Furitsu Sakurazuka Kōkō Keiongakubu

This is the theme song for Myaku-Myaku, produced by the Sakurazuka High School Light Music Club of Osaka Prefecture, a group that has drawn attention for many years with its outstanding achievements.
The song introduces the mysterious Myaku-Myaku—said to be made of cells and water—set to a fresh, high school–style sound.
At a pre-Expo event in April 2023, they even performed together with Myaku-Myaku.
Its bright, hopeful tone is perfect for building excitement as we head toward the Expo.
Listening with family and friends will heighten your anticipation for the venue, so we highly recommend it!
Myaku-Myaku Counting Songumizuki sheru

A very fun counting song inspired by the official mascot of the Osaka-Kansai Expo.
It’s a track by Shell Kurage, a music-focused VTuber who performs with the concept of a mermaid songstress.
The song adopts the traditional Japanese counting-song style, and its catchy melody will have everyone from kids to adults humming along.
You can feel the overflowing affection for Myaku-Myaku, and it naturally brings a smile to your face.
Released in September 2025 as an original song written and composed by Shell Kurage herself, it’s perfect not only for listening on your way to the Expo, but also as background music when you want to boost the excitement with friends for the event!
Katano-bushi

This is a traditional Bon Odori song from the Kawachi region, believed to have originated in the mid-Edo period.
It is also known as a root of the Kawachi Ondo.
Each locality has passed it down with slight variations in melody and dance, and its simple, rustic tone may evoke images of one’s hometown.
In October 2018, a recording titled “Katano-bushi ~ Ishikawa Goemon ~,” arranged with orchestral accompaniment, was released.
Furthermore, in 2025, as part of a project related to the Osaka-Kansai Expo, an up-tempo arrangement of this piece aimed at younger listeners was introduced.
It is a fascinating track that lets you experience both traditional timbres and contemporary arrangements.
Funny Osaka feat. OSAKA ROOTSET-KING

A number packed full of love for Osaka! It’s a single released by ET-KING in April 2025, created as an unofficial support song for Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai.
The straightforward lyrics sung in Kansai dialect blend perfectly with the funky sound produced in collaboration with OSAKA ROOTS.
With their distinctive expressive power, they convey the warmth of the city and the heartfelt kindness of its people.
Overflowing with hometown pride, this track is recommended not only for the people of Osaka but for anyone seeking heartwarming music.
In conclusion
We’ve introduced songs related to the Expo.
Speaking of the 1970 Expo that is still talked about today, there were many songs that boosted the festive mood, led by Haruo Minami’s “Sekai no Kuni Kara Konnichiwa” (“Hello from the Countries of the World”)! I’d be delighted if this helps you find the song you’re looking for or discover a new favorite.
