Prefecture Shape Quiz
Those “guess the prefecture by its shape” questions often seen on elementary and junior high school tests.
If it’s the prefecture you live in, you can probably answer easily, but it suddenly gets hard when it’s another prefecture.
It’s simple if it’s been featured on TV and such, but it’s tough to recognize the shapes of less familiar prefectures.
So you could say it’s quite a challenging quiz.
It’s not particularly useful to know, but being able to answer makes for good bragging rights.

Broadly, climates can be divided into five zones: polar, subarctic (cold), temperate, arid (dry), and tropical.
The game works like this: the quizmaster says the name of a country, and the players answer which climate zone it belongs to.
For example, to “What about Saudi Arabia?” you’d answer, “It belongs to the arid zone.” It could be fun to play this as a team competition in class.
If you’re going to study, you might as well enjoy it! It could also be great to spread out a world map and play while everyone checks where each country is.

A quiz recommended for people who love geography or want to overcome their weak points is “Pinpoint Your Location Using Only Your Knowledge!” It’s a game where you guess where you are based on street-level photos from a random spot on Google Maps.
You can predict the country by looking at the language on nearby signs, or whether cars drive on the right or the left—those alone are big clues.
Try squeezing every bit of knowledge you have to figure it out.
It’s great solo, but it also gets lively when you play with a group.
