hopes up (ft.dashboard confessional)nothing,nowhere.

This is a gem of a collaboration featuring nothing, nowhere., known as a standard-bearer of emo rap, and Chris Carrabba of Dashboard Confessional, a pioneer of emo rock.
Released in August 2017, the track appears on the album Reaper.
The lyrics reference November, capturing emotions swaying in the cold air.
Its delicate sound—woven from clean guitar arpeggios and a restrained beat—beautifully mirrors the melancholy at autumn’s end.
A melody of introspection and yearning spun by two artists across generations.
It’s a song for anyone who can relate to confronting loneliness and anxiety while striving to rise above them.
Sweet NovemberSZA

Singer-songwriter SZA, whose collaboration with Justin Timberlake drew a lot of attention.
Today, I’m introducing Sweet November from her 2014 album Z.
It’s a very sexy track with a jazzy feel and her husky vocals.
She’s said she wrote the song while thinking about the film Sweet November.
At the time, SZA was struggling with health issues and even feared she might actually die.
She didn’t confide in her friends and suffered alone, and in an interview she explained that she wrote the song by projecting those feelings onto the film’s characters.
It’s a work themed around November.
Be sure to listen to it while comparing it with the film.
evermore (ft. Bon Iver)Taylor Swift

The incomparable songstress Taylor Swift is known for many things, and one of them is the title track of her album, “evermore.” The song is set in November and portrays a person who has been haunted by something since summer.
Throughout the song, this person suffers through the entirety of November and finally arrives at December.
It’s a truly bittersweet piece, but in the end, it suggests that one day they will be freed from this pain.
Those who have struggled with something for a long time may find it especially relatable.
Gone Till NovemberRod Wave

No sooner had he debuted than word-of-mouth about Rod Wave exploded on social media.
When it comes to his November-themed tracks, it has to be “Gone Till November.” It’s a laid-back rap song depicting someone who plans to disappear until November.
This person seems tired of relationships and wants a break.
However, they can’t quite get away and keep getting persistently called back by someone.
It’s also possible the character is modeled after Rod Wave himself, who is known to be extremely busy.
NovemberTyler, The Creator

November can feel like a somewhat lonely time of year, right? Because of that, we might find ourselves getting pulled into negativity.
That mood is portrayed very realistically in “November.” It’s a track by the rapper Tyler, The Creator.
In the first half, he describes waves of anxiety rising one after another; in the second half, he depicts the year revolving around November and time slipping by faster and faster.
It’s also interesting that you can vicariously experience parts of his life story along the way.
