Yellowcard is a rock band based in Florida.
Their alternative rock, infused with the essence of progressive bands that had hits in the 1960s and 1970s, has earned them popularity around the world.
Among their works, the piece themed around October is “October Nights.” While it’s an alternative rock track close to punk rock, it also features the band’s hallmark irregular phrases, resulting in a song whose intricate craftsmanship becomes more impressive the more you listen.

Singer-songwriter Alessia Cara has drawn major attention since the 2020s for her distinctive sound that blends R&B and indie pop.
She has produced numerous great songs.
Among her works, a track I recommend with an October theme is “October.” The lyrics are abstract, but they likely depict an unfulfilled love, or a love that never had a chance to blossom.
