Let Me Down SlowNew Hope Club, R3HAB

New Hope Club is a young pop trio from the United Kingdom.
Formed in 2015, the group consists of Reece Bibby, George Smith, and Blake Richardson.
All three are multi-talented, handling vocals, songwriting, and instruments.
Their debut album, New Hope Club, released in 2020, broke into the top 10 on the charts in both the UK and Ireland, earning them early attention as a next-generation boy group.
Their track Let Me Down Slow, produced with Dutch DJ R3HAB, is a catchy number that blends pop with elements of EDM and tropical house.
The lyrics portray an unspoken heartache and a wish for a gentle goodbye—sentiments that will resonate with anyone who’s experienced heartbreak.
The song has also been used as the walk-up music for Kyuuta Kazama of the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks, making it a fitting boost for an energetic mindset on the field.
PassionNick Wood

This is a song called “PASSION” by the UK-born music producer Nick Wood.
Don’t you hear this track especially often when the FIFA World Cup is on? As it turns out, Nick Wood himself used to be a rugby union player in England.
Maybe that’s why he’s able to create music that really excites so many sports fans.
TwinbowSlushii x Marshmello

Shohei Ohtani, the MLB star capturing Japan’s attention and raising expectations nationwide.
In Japanese baseball, walk-up songs rarely change during the season.
In the majors, though, it seems fairly common.
The track Twinbow by Slushii and Marshmello, a well-known hit, was adopted by Shohei Ohtani as his new walk-up song in July 2022.
It’s a song with a charming, cute sound that’s unusual for a sports entrance theme.
It’s got a great groove too, so why not add it to your party tunes repertoire?
Come Sail AwayStyx

The entrance song for Chris Sale of the Chicago White Sox in MLB.
It was written by Dennis DeYoung, the keyboard player of Styx.
The song is about setting off on a journey into the unknown and chasing dreams.
It was used in the 1999 TV series Freaks and Geeks.
One minute in heavenSunbeam

When we talk about entrance themes for combat sports or sports in general, I tend to think of genres like rock, metal, or hip-hop.
Of course, there are also people who use dance and electronic tracks.
“One Minute in Heaven,” the PRIDE entrance theme for Japanese MMA fighter and pro wrestler Minowaman (Ikuhisa Minowa), is a hard-hitting trance track.
It was released in 1994 by Sunbeam, a German trance duo active in the 1990s.
It’s on the more niche side, so I’m curious how it ended up being chosen.
It’s a straightforward, upbeat sound, so I recommend it when you want to get pumped up.
