Upbeat Western music. Fast-tempo songs (41–50)
Like A G6Far East Movement

A single released in 2010 by the American hip-hop group Far East Movement, featuring American singer Dev.
Dev’s mechanical, detached vocals and rap blend perfectly with the electro sound in this track.
It reached No.
1 on the U.S.
singles chart and became a major hit worldwide.

Sexy And I Know ItLMFAO

A single released in September 2011 by LMFAO, who took the world by storm that year with Party Rock Anthem, keeping their momentum going.
The song is about their own sexiness.
The music video is extremely comical and will make you laugh just by watching.
K-1 champion Alistair Overeem also makes a cheeky cameo appearance.
Good VibrationsThe Beach Boys

This is the Beach Boys’ biggest hit.
Their outstanding choral work really shines.
It’s said they spent 90 hours recording and then edited it down, finally producing a three-and-a-half-minute master tape for this three-and-a-half-minute song—clear proof of their tireless effort.
Lady MadonnaThe Beatles

It’s a hit number by the Beatles.
Among their many up-tempo songs, I chose this bright and comical one.
The opening piano is modeled after a British jazz number, and the saxophone solo in the interlude involves the renowned player Ronnie Scott—making it a song with many jazz-related anecdotes.
Video Killed A Radio StarThe Buggles

This song was also the first music video ever aired on MTV.
Judging by the title, it’s a rather ironic and aggressive choice.
By 2000, it had been broadcast on MTV over one million times.
The song has also been used in Japanese TV dramas.
