It’s a personal and emotional piece about his brother, included on the self-titled 2003 album released by the American rock band Thriving Ivory.

A song included on Libertad, the second album released in 2007 by the American hard rock band Velvet Revolver.

It was written after drummer Matt Sorum lost his brother to cancer and lead singer Scott Weiland lost his brother to a drug overdose.

Bread and WaterVince Gill

A song by American country music artist Vince Gill about a homeless man and the theme of “forgiveness.” It was inspired by his brother, who had struggled in life.

The track appears on his 12th album, Guitar Slinger, released in 2011.

Cassies BrotherDrive-By Truckers

A song about Steve Gaines, the guitarist and brother of Lynyrd Skynyrd backup singer Cassie Gaines.

The siblings died in a plane crash on October 20, 1977, along with lead singer Ronnie Van Zant.
