Your Name - Taki Who Awakens Memories (Kioku wo Yobiokosu Taki)

Taki can no longer swap places with Mitsuha, and his memories gradually begin to fade.

This is the scene where he tries to go see Mitsuha, tracing the memories of Itomori that aren’t written in the notebook.

As he desperately tries to remember and sketch the townscape, Taki’s anxiety intersects with his desire to believe in something, and yet he can’t help needing to be sure—those emotions come through in the music.

Hida ExplorationRADWIMPS

This plays during the scene where he heads to Hida, relying on a drawing he made from memory, to search for Mitsuha.

He came here to check something, but there are also some lighthearted, slightly goofy moments that make you chuckle and reveal Taki’s personality.

You can even feel how delicious the Takayama ramen is (lol).

It’s a fun piano piece that lets you catch your breath for a bit.

Mitsuha’s commute to schoolRADWIMPS

This is a scene of Mitsuha on her way to school.

It depicts the Itomori scenery, and you can see the lively and cheerful Mitsuha enjoying her everyday life in the countryside.

It’s a heartwarming scene that also conveys her personality and her longing for the city.

The acoustic guitar by Yojiro Noda plays along, creating a fun, soothing sound that heals the heart.
