Many of us are so busy every day that we keep putting things off and suddenly find ourselves wondering what we’re working so hard for.

Even when we’re doing our best for ourselves or our families, we can be overwhelmed by a sense of futility or life’s heaviness; once you start thinking about it, there’s no end, and you just sink deeper.

For anyone feeling that way, we hope you’ll listen to Hibi Karimero’s “Ryūkōka” (“Popular Song”).

It will encourage you to let the world’s absurdities roll off your back and believe that your efforts are truly right.

This track also serves as the theme song for Studio Rag’s live-streaming service, RAG NET LIVE.

“Seishun no Uma” is a song included on Hinatazaka46’s fourth single, “Sonna Kotonaiyo.” Its message—keep running without stopping, even if you can no longer walk—is intertwined with the horse in the title, conveying a wish for listeners to keep moving forward and seize their dreams.

You can also feel the passionate determination of the members as they fight on the front lines as idols.

It’s a song that vividly underscores the importance of never giving up, recommended not only for students in the midst of their youth but also for working adults.

It’s an energetic track that stirs up the spirit of “to hell with fate.” Created by singer-songwriter Gen Hoshino, who’s also active as an actor, it was released digitally in 2021.

It’s an original theme song written for the film “CUBE: Once You Enter, There’s No Turning Back.” The stylish arrangement rolls forward as it unfolds—very much Hoshino’s signature.

It’s great as is, of course, but you might get a different impression if you listen to it after watching the movie.

Based on a scene seen in a dream, this moving song questions the fragility of life and the meaning of living.

It speaks as if to remind us that “even in an imperfect state, people can find happiness” and that “change can begin right at this very moment.” Released in June 2014 as UVERworld’s 26th single, it was also included on the album Ø CHOIR and reached No.

2 on the Oricon weekly chart.

In live performances, it is positioned as a key track that creates a sense of unity with the audience.

This work gently stands by those who feel uncertain about their own worth or struggle to take the first step toward change.

Be kind to othersTHE BLUE HEARTS

This is THE BLUE HEARTS’ song “Be Kind to People.” Sometimes when someone tells you “Hang in there,” it makes you sad because you think, “I’m already doing my best!!” But when you’re cheered on this straightforwardly, it actually feels good, doesn’t it? The words may be plain and unadorned, but it’s a song that truly gives you courage when you need one more push.

This song accompanies the pivotal moments of life.

Included on RADWIMPS’s album “X to O to Tsumi to,” released in December 2013, it gives you the courage to take a step forward after days of compromise.

With a striking guitar riff and drums, the track portrays the protagonist’s struggle between stability and challenge.

The music video, filmed at Ageo Municipal Baseball Stadium in Saitama Prefecture with 1,500 extras, uses a baseball game as a metaphor to depict a dramatic life comeback.

For those torn between ideals and reality, or feeling anxious about entering a new environment before a school entrance ceremony, this one song is sure to give you courage.

The Aloha-style rock band Namuabedabutsu from Nerima has a song called “Ouenka” (Cheering Song) that really fires me up.

The lyrics are perfectly in line with the title—direct and straight to the point.

You might be moved to tears by its unadorned, blazing message: “I’ve had my eyes on you all along, so go forward without hesitation.” The energetic band sound and vocals hit you right in the heart, too.

It’s the one track I want you to hear when you want to feel energized but just can’t seem to get there.
