The shape of happinessSon Shigyon

Featuring striking illustrations from the popular manga Kounodori, this commercial announces a coverage plan for babies that you can apply for even before birth.
Whether it’s your first delivery or not, it’s natural to worry about whether your baby will be born healthy and grow well.
This ad reassures viewers by conveying that they can apply before birth.
The background music is Sung Si-kyung’s “Shiawase no Katachi,” whose gentle voice and melody leave you feeling calm and comforted.
This roadHanbaato Hanbaato

This is a commercial encouraging early medical consultation for COVID-19 to protect not only yourself but also your family.
Although COVID-19 is no longer a major topic in the media, it presents data showing that in 2024, the number of people who died from COVID-19 was more than ten times higher than those who died from influenza, emphasizing that its threat has not subsided.
It then shares the personal story of a woman who cares for her parents while managing her own life, conveying the importance of protecting yourself in order to support your family.
The commercial features the children’s song “Kono Michi,” known for its gentle melody, as background music.
The vocals are by the married duo Humbert Humbert, whose warm voices suit the song perfectly.
Touchano
This is a Juroku-cha commercial featuring a baseball cheering scene that really evokes the feeling of summer.
It shows Yui Aragaki in the stadium stands enjoying a refreshing sip of Juroku-cha, conveying that it’s perfect for staying hydrated.
The BGM is the baseball-cheer staple “Touch,” but the singer here is ano! Her characteristically cute vocal performance really stands out.
The original song, a beloved classic everyone knows, was released in 1985 by Yoshimi Iwasaki.

You like whisky, don’t you?Noda Yojiro

The new series of commercials has drawn attention for casting Yu Aoi as the fourth-generation shop owner.
In addition to Aoi, the cast includes Shota Sometani, Satomi Kobayashi, and Yojiro Noda.
The spots are packed with highlights—from casual conversations that hint at tips for living richly, to lush, mouthwatering shots of whiskey.
And an essential element when discussing these commercials is Noda’s cover of “Do You Like Whisky?” He also appears in the footage playing guitar and singing, and his gentle, soft vocals perfectly match the mellow tone of the song.
JurassicNIKO NIKO TAN TAN

This is a commercial by Toda Corporation introducing floating offshore wind power generation that floats on the ocean.
Alice Hirose boards a boat, goes close to the offshore wind turbines, and hears from a Toda representative.
Just like Hirose, who is surprised by the fact that they float on the sea, many viewers were probably surprised by this CM as well.
The rock-style BGM in the commercial is NIKO NIKO TAN TAN’s “Jurassic.” The rhythm created by the rhyming lyrics feels great, and before you know it you’re grooving along.
How could I possibly know?Vaundy

This is a commercial with the theme of ikigai in which Tori Matsuzaka appears in various people’s hobby time.
It shows people shining as they feel a sense of purpose through their hobbies, and many viewers may have found themselves wondering, “What is my ikigai?” Life insurance commercials often focus on premiums and coverage, but by highlighting the brilliance of life as this ad does, it becomes an opportunity to reflect on life itself.
UNDEADYOASOBI

This is a collaboration commercial between Suntory Draft Beer and YOASOBI, depicting the struggles of three game creators set to a YOASOBI track.
It shows the three of them overcoming difficulties together, with the supporting presence of music and beer portrayed strikingly.
There’s a coding screen in the commercial, but if you look closely, you’ll notice that instead of code, the song’s lyrics are written there—these small details are another highlight.
The BGM in the CM is “UNDEAD,” released in 2024.
Its lyrics encourage you to keep moving forward without giving up on happiness, and the fast-paced, quintessential YOASOBI melody matches perfectly, making it a song that fills you with energy as you listen.
