GreenerCoast Arcade

Coast Arcade is a young four-piece indie rock band formed in Auckland, New Zealand.
Starting out in 2021 as a group of high school friends, they’ve lit up the charts at home with a sound that harkens back to the golden era of guitar rock in the ’90s and ’00s.
In October 2025, they’re set to release their long-awaited debut album, “Coast Arcade,” and this featured track spotlights the band’s growth and evolution.
The protagonist’s resolve to step into a new world without being bound by past relationships is conveyed through driving guitar riffs and powerful vocals, and the determination to move forward after the regret of failing to save someone is deeply affecting.
It’s a must-listen for anyone ready to let go of the past and take a new step forward.
(Isn’t It) ObviousAlessia Cara, Lucky Daye

The long-awaited duet by Canadian singer-songwriter Alessia Cara and neo-soul standard-bearer Lucky Daye was released in October.
The song first drew attention in October 2024 when Cara’s solo version dropped as a promo single, highlighted by a much-talked-about guitar solo from John Mayer; the new duet version reimagines the track in a conversational format.
Even across physical distance, the pair’s conviction in their emotional bond is rendered with added depth by Daye’s vocals, which deftly switch between falsetto and chest voice.
Included on the deluxe edition of the album “Love & Hyperbole,” it arrived alongside an acoustic version.
With its breezy R&B groove and tender back-and-forth, it’s perfect for anyone in a long-distance relationship or those looking to reaffirm a cherished connection.
HumanBrandi Carlile

Brandi Carlile, an 11-time Grammy winner and a leading figure in Americana and folk rock, has released an anthemic track from Returning to Myself, her eighth studio album, released in October 2025.
The album elevates a message that embraces human imperfection through powerful vocals and dynamic arrangements.
Produced by Andrew Watt, Aaron Dessner, and John Vernon, it masterfully fuses the storytelling of folk with the exhilaration of rock.
Serving as the centerpiece of the tour titled “The Human Tour,” the work portrays a way of living that accepts both vulnerability and strength, offering encouragement and comfort in equal measure.
Its universal theme of self-acceptance will resonate with anyone feeling worn down by daily life.
Call On MeDaniel Caesar

This track by Canadian artist Daniel Caesar was released in August 2025, with its music video premiering in October of the same year.
It serves as the second single from his fourth album, Son of Spergy.
The album title reflects his feelings toward his father; he has said that, in his childhood, his father was like a god to him.
This work fuses grunge-inspired guitar sounds with rhythms reminiscent of reggae, resulting in an unprecedented roughness and freshness.
The lyrics depict a devoted love that accepts even being used by the other person, and Daniel’s deep vocals elevate such complex emotions into something convincing.
While rooted in R&B, the sound design transcends genre boundaries—truly impressive.
Under The MoonAri Lennox

The neo-soul singer Ari Lennox from Washington, D.C.
dropped a track in October 2025 that serves as a lead single from her upcoming album “Vacancy,” slated for release in January 2026.
Featuring longtime Dreamville collaborators like producers Elite and Ron Gilmore, the song is a spooky R&B number that portrays a perilous moonlit romance through doo-wop-inspired choral work and retro piano-and-guitar harmonies.
Weaving in werewolf metaphors, the lyrics balance intense allure with a sense of foreboding, delivered seductively by Lennox’s husky, sensual vocals.
The sound masterfully fuses a ’90s R&B revival with modern textures—perfect for the Halloween season!
Telephone Busy5 Seconds of Summer

5 Seconds of Summer, the pop-rock band from Australia.
Their new single, which began streaming in late October 2025, uses the theme of not being able to reach someone by phone to portray a rupture in a relationship and the turmoil of shifting emotions.
It’s the lead single from their sixth studio album, “EVERYONE’S A STAR!,” and was released in tandem with the announcement of their world tour scheduled for 2026.
While carrying the torch of pop-punk, it’s marked by glam-rock flair and a stadium-ready, sing-along chorus.
It’s a track that’s sure to ignite their live shows—don’t miss it.
PROUD OF MEBNYX®, Earl Sweatshirt

A standout collaborative track dropped in October 2025 as part of LOADING…, the first EP released under the producer Beenix’s own name, who’s at the forefront of contemporary US hip-hop.
Featuring introspective Odd Future alumnus Earl Sweatshirt, the song places Earl’s densely packed, space-savvy rhymes over a minimalist beat built on Beenix’s signature distorted 808s and meticulous spatial processing.
The lyrics delicately capture self-assessment and a nuanced sense of distance from others—an ideal chemistry between a producer who topped Billboard’s Producer chart in 2023 and a rapper with a poet for a father.
Introspective yet engineered to shine in the club, its sound design points to new possibilities for modern hip-hop.
