A collaboration between two titans of UK rap that London proudly claims dropped in December 2025.

This track by J Hus and Skepta opens the surprise EP “Half Clip.” The producer is JAE5, who has been behind many of J Hus’s signature hits, and it turns out the skeleton of this song was made seven years ago.

It brilliantly fuses an Afrobeat-derived bouncing groove with the hard-edged pulse of UK rap, with surging low end and nimble percussion creating an effortless forward drive.

Both artists keep their delivery cool and unembellished, sliding over the beat with a poise and confidence that stands out.

The track entered the UK Singles Chart at No.

83, making its presence felt even in the crowded year-end season.

A must-listen for anyone who wants to experience the current pulse of the UK street scene.

Let It All OutLEISURE

Leisure is a collective-style band based in Auckland, New Zealand.

Starting from a laid-back session on the west coast of Muriwai in 2015, they’ve become known for a sound that centers on electronic music while fluidly crossing genres like funk, disco, and alternative R&B.

Each member is a seasoned talent with their own projects, and in 2023 one member won the APRA Silver Scroll Award for Benny’s “Glitter,” highlighting their strong reputation as producers as well.

In December 2025, they released a track that had been performed to great acclaim on the tour for their album “Welcome to the Mood.” The song features a dazzling, French touch–inspired piano riff intertwined with a groovy disco-funk bassline, building to a cathartic, exhilarating release in the chorus.

Lyrically, it portrays unwavering support for a loved one and the importance of putting that connection into words now.

It’s a perfect track for a nighttime drive or as party background music.

Triple DoubleM Huncho

M Huncho continues to carve out a singular presence in London’s UK hip-hop scene.

While maintaining his trademark masked persona in public, he’s captivated fans with a melodious, Auto-Tune–driven flow.

His chart credentials are solid too, with the album Huncholini the 1st reaching No.

5 on the UK charts.

This track, released in December 2025 as part of his three-song project Where’s The Wizard?, showcases that signature appeal.

Produced by Gasha, Kasane, and Teko, it condenses the trap-wave aesthetic—equal parts icy and weightless—into two and a half minutes.

Over misty synths, his distinctive sing-rap resonates, yielding a short yet addictive listen.

It’s a perfect pick for late-night drives or solitary moments when you’re craving a moody atmosphere.

MC Lan is a unique artist whose roots lie in Brazilian funk, yet he traverses rock and hip-hop with ease.

Since his breakthrough in 2017, he has earned international acclaim, including a Latin Grammy nomination in 2020 for a track with Anitta.

His album V3NOM Vol.

1 – Eclipse, released in December 2025, is an ambitious work that ventures into hard rock and nu metal.

The bonus track near the end features Swedish rapper Bladee, creating a distinctive sonic landscape where heavy guitar tones intersect with airy vocals.

While retaining funk’s rhythmic sensibility, the track carries a mysterious, gravity-like weight.

It’s a must-listen for anyone seeking a musical experience that transcends genre boundaries.

Rapper Pooh Shiesty from Memphis is signed to Gucci Mane’s 1017 Records.

He shot to prominence when his February 2021 mixtape “Shiesty Season” reached No.

3 on the Billboard 200.

However, his career was interrupted by a stint in federal prison.

He was released in October 2025, and this track marks his long-awaited comeback.

Built on TP808’s heavy 808 bass and hard-edged drums, the song is structured around a single long verse that barrels straight through.

Rather than crooning melodically, he leans on a gritty voice and forceful flow—an outright declaration that he’s back.

In the simultaneously released music video, footage of him right after his release and words from his family create a homecoming feel.

If you’re into Southern hip-hop or trap, definitely give it a listen.
