A cappella that highlights beautiful harmonies.
Do you have any favorite a cappella groups or songs?
Overseas, there are various groups like Pentatonix at the forefront, as well as Home Free and VoicePlay.
In Japan, there are The Gospellers and Little Glee Monster, who have collaborated with Pentatonix.
One of the charms of a cappella is enjoying that perfectly synchronized, almost telepathic breathing and timing!

Remember ThisHome Free

Formed in 2000 in Minnesota, USA, Home Free won season 4 of the a cappella competition show The Sing-Off and made their major-label debut in 2014.
“Remember This” is their original song that opens the 2019 album Dive Bar Saints, featuring thought-provoking lyrics that ask how we will spend the time we have left.
Its beautiful harmonies bring loved ones to mind, reminding us that the limited time we have in life makes each and every moment an irreplaceable treasure.
Hello, goodbye.COLOR CREATION

COLOR CREATION, known for their a cappella videos on TikTok, are making waves.
Their overwhelmingly powerful vocals and beautiful resonance—akin to a male version of Little Glee Monster—are must-hear.
Their first digital single, “Hello Goodbye,” was released in 2020.
While the official track includes instruments, an a cappella one-take version is available on YouTube.
It’s a farewell song that evokes graduations and partings.
COLOR CREATION’s harmonies are endlessly expansive and crystal clear.
No matter how strong we try to be, the moment of parting from someone you love is always lonely.
You hope for the day you can meet again with a smile.
This ballad stays close to those feelings, expressing gratitude for the past and giving you the strength to take your next step.
I SwearAll-4-One

They are an American male vocal group, consisting of both Black and white members, known for their pop-leaning to R&B-style harmonies.
This song is a single from their debut album, All-4-One, and became a huge hit, spending 11 consecutive weeks at number one in the U.S.

It Don’t Mean A ThingThe Real Group

They are a professional Swedish jazz a cappella group, formed by five members who met at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm.
While their repertoire focuses on jazz, it spans a variety of styles.
This song is one of the standards of so-called swing jazz.
ButterflyRajaton

“Butterfly” is a signature song by Rajaton, a Finnish mixed-gender a cappella group.
The voices of three men and three women create a fantastical soundscape.
In addition to their appearance during Expo 2005 Aichi, they have toured Japan several times.
They also have ties with Sweden’s The Real Group, another Nordic ensemble, and have performed together.
DenglischWise Guys

This is a song by the German a cappella group Wise Guys.
The five members are from Cologne and came out after die Prinzen.
The title of the song means something like “German English.” Since German and English are similar in some ways, there’s a lot of mixed German-English being used in Germany these days.
This song laments and satirizes that trend.
Once you understand the lyrics, it becomes even more amusing.
And it’s the epitome of a cappella—the harmonies are so good you find yourself wondering if they’re really not using instruments.
They also have lovely ballads that retain plenty of humor.
Flowers Will BloomIl Divo

Il Divo is a multinational a cappella group whose four members each hail from different countries—Spain, the United States, France, and Switzerland—and who debuted in the UK.
The song is “Hana wa Saku” (Flowers Will Bloom), created to support recovery from Japan’s Great East Japan Earthquake and used in an NHK project.
The English translation is excellent, and it moves me to tears just by listening.
Like a hymn and resonant like opera, it strikes the heart even more deeply.
Their overwhelming vocals showcase what makes them unique.
If you’re Japanese, I truly hope you’ll listen at least once to Il Divo’s rendition of “Hana wa Saku.” They’ve toured Japan many times, are known for their fondness for Japan—singing “Furusato” beautifully in Japanese during their shows—and have even visited disaster-stricken areas.
On top of that, they’re all quite dashing and handsome.
