Junko Iwao, who is from Beppu City in Oita Prefecture, is active as a singer while also working as a voice actress, known for roles such as Jun Fudo in Devilman Lady and Tomoe Yukishiro in Rurouni Kenshin.

Her song Sora no Ocarina, released in 1996, was used on NHK’s Minna no Uta.
