MotherMori Shinichi

Shinichi Mori is a celebrated enka singer Japan is proud of, known for songs such as Minatomachi Blues and Ofukuro-san, for which he won the Japan Record Award’s Best Vocal Performance.
He appeared on NHK’s annual New Year’s Eve music show Kōhaku Uta Gassen for 48 consecutive years starting in 1968, taking on prominent roles such as the opening act and the grand finale.

The following year, they won the Best New Artist Award at the 63rd Japan Record Awards.
