The lineup is four brass players, two guitarists, and one each on bass and drums.
They’re not a very famous band, but I’d like to introduce them.
This song features a catchy, uplifting melody line and blends the best parts of punk and ska really well—it’s one of my personal favorites.
I Am YoursThe Makemakes

Austria is world-famous as a sacred ground for classical music, but The MakeMakes are a pop-rock band bringing a fresh breeze to that tradition.
Formed in 2012, they drew attention at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2015.
Although they didn’t score any points, their charming musicality has continued to captivate many fans.
Their music blends pop and rock, characterized by pleasant melodies and emotionally stirring lyrics.
In particular, songs including their debut single “The Lovercall” resonate deeply with listeners.
After Eurovision, they have continued to pursue their music energetically, releasing new singles and albums, performing live both at home and abroad, and appearing across various media.
The MakeMakes can truly be considered an indispensable presence in Austria’s music scene.

Excuse Me Moses began their journey in 2000 as a rock band from Vienna, Austria.
Starting out in funk rock and evolving their sound, they changed their band name in 2005 to pursue a more rock-focused direction.
Following this turning point, they gained attention in 2006 by serving as a warm-up act for major artists.
They performed at large-scale festivals such as Summer Sonic, and in 2007 their album “1st Last Will” entered the Austrian charts, earning them recognition across a wide audience.
Their single “Summer Sun” in particular captivated many listeners.
Drawing on influences from post-grunge and alternative pop, their music, combined with energetic live performances, radiates a distinctive appeal.
Don’t Be Afraid Of The DarkRoterfeld

Debuting in 2011, Rotersand hails from Austria and continues to captivate fans with a sound that masterfully fuses dark rock and alternative pop.
Their musical range spans from intense guitar riffs to orchestral textures and synthesizers, while Aaron Rotersand’s compositions feature profound lyrics, primarily in English and occasionally in German, that resonate with listeners.
Notably, since the release of their debut album “Blood Diamond Romance” on October 14, 2011, their track “Stop” reached as high as No.
2 on the German club charts.
Their music has also found wide appeal across various scenes, including “Great New Life,” which was selected for the film The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1.
In live performances, they’ve broadened their appeal by appearing at major events such as Nova Rock and the M’era Luna Festival.
Rotersand continues to deliver music that skillfully blends dark and pop elements, steadily expanding their fanbase.

Dead Soul Tribe was born in Vienna, Austria in 2000 to breathe new life into the world of progressive metal.
The band’s soul, Devon Graves, infuses a powerful personality and musicality that forge a distinctive sound incorporating tribal rhythms and unconventional time signatures.
Notably, the inclusion of flute deepens their music even further, and their experimental approach—transcending the boundaries of progressive metal—continues to captivate fans.
Despite their unfortunate breakup in 2009, the news of their return to activity in 2023 delighted many music enthusiasts.
Dead Soul Tribe’s music comes highly recommended not only to all metal lovers but also to music fans across genres.
