Edo Lullaby

Edo Lullaby

When it comes to lullabies, this is the song.

It’s a representative Japanese lullaby that has been sung since the Edo period.

The melody is a little melancholic, but in any era, babies will doze off peacefully on their mother’s back when they hear it…

It must be a very soothing tune for babies.

TWO HOURS of gentle lullabies for babies – Baby Sleep MusicAndrew Holdsworth

I find the beautiful piano tones incredibly soothing.

When I play this music for my child, they fall asleep in about 30 minutes.

Since the music lasts for two hours, after my child falls asleep I just keep it on and enjoy a graceful time of music and reading by myself.

That time has become my relaxation time.

I find the sound of the piano very soothing.

I like music boxes too, but it seems that listening to the piano also helps me feel calm.

Even when I’m crying, if I play this music, I calm down while gazing steadily at the screen.

As if the crying had been a lie, I then fell fast asleep just like that.

If you have small children, you’ve probably played this at least once.

The lyrics are filled with love, as if the mother is saying on the child’s behalf, “I’m right here with you, so sleep soundly.” The gentle melody and timbre seem likely to lull not only babies but adults to sleep as well.

As a traditional Okinawan lullaby, this is a representative song that many mothers play for their children.

It was performed by Okinawan singer Misako Koja and is mainly sung in the Koja area of Okinawa.

The song is also well-known for being covered by Okinawan artists Hiroko Shimabukuro and Rimi Natsukawa.

We don’t have a mobile (baby crib toy).

This has been helpful as something we can play instead.

I love the slow tempo.

It also works great when the baby starts crying in the car.

Even when they’re crying, they calm down right away, so it seems to be a favorite for our child too.

It’s soothing!

I thought guitar music for children was unusual, but it really soothed my child! Just five minutes after we started, they kept yawning.

The country-style vibe is so calming that when my child naps to this song, I just let it keep playing in the background.

It even puts me in a slightly stylish mood!

In conclusion

I’ve introduced sleep music and bedtime BGM for babies.

I can’t say which music will suit your child best, but I chose videos without mid-roll ads, so please feel free to let them listen to various options with peace of mind.

I hope your baby can sleep comfortably and that both mom and dad can get some rest too.
