Everything is encapsulated in the title.

It’s a love song from a man’s perspective who confessed his feelings, got rejected, yet still can’t give up.

It’s included on their fourth major album, Chandelier, released in 2015.

Given that he was rejected, it should be heartbreaking, but when you read the lyrics, the protagonist is optimistic, and it even gives energy to those of us listening.

How about using it as a cheer song before confessing your feelings?

A track from the album “blues.” It’s an up-tempo, bright number.

The chorus has a slightly wistful melody and chord feel that really brings out back number’s signature style.

And of course, the lyrics’ faintly fragile expressions also explode with that quintessential back number vibe!

The song that comes afterback number

It’s a song called “Ato no Uta,” included on the 2010 album “Ato no Matsuri.” It does a great job of expressing the feelings after a breakup.

Even though the narrator put on a brave face when they split, it’s a lively rock tune that sings about the lingering guilt—regretting not saying what they wanted to say later, and being unable to throw away gifts from their ex.

When you think of buck number, you might picture songs that express natural, honest emotions, but this track has a sharp, up-tempo edge.

Listening to buck number like this is really great, too.

Highly recommended.
