Yorushika is a male-female rock duo that has enjoyed immense popularity since 2019.

Based on their belief that “the creator shouldn’t stand in front of the work,” they’ve revealed very little about their faces or profiles.

That air of mystery may be part of their appeal.

One of their hit songs, Hana ni Bourei (Ghost in a Flower), was released as the theme song for the animated film A Whisker Away.

Its literary, sentimental lyrics are deeply moving—be sure to check out both the film and the song!

Find The Way, Mika Nakashima’s 9th single, was released in 2003.

In fact, this song was her first anime track.

Many people might have assumed she’d been singing anime songs for much longer because of works like NANA, right? This song was used as an ending theme for Gundam SEED.

Gundam SEED is known for having many serious scenes.

After watching those intense moments, this song starts to play—and it fits the world perfectly.

Tear-Jerking Anime Song Ballads Special [Moving & Heartbreaking] (61–70)

Teru's Song [Tales from Earthsea] (’06-07-28)
Teru's Song Aoi Teshima

This is an insert song from the Studio Ghibli film Tales from Earthsea.

It was released in 2006 as Aoi Teshima’s debut single.

It’s a simple piece with vocals and piano, and as you listen, it leaves you with a feeling of loneliness.

I’m not sure whether it’s Teshima’s voice or the piano’s tone that makes you feel that way.

And yet, when I’m feeling down and listen to this song, it somehow heals me.

I think there are very few songs like this.

It’s the ending theme of the anime “Strike the Blood.” It was included on the 2015 album “Tsukinami.” It’s a grand ballad with the warm, resonant tones of the cello.

When it comes to Conan, many people might picture Miho Komatsu’s songs.

The lyrics express the feeling that “because you’re here, I can be strong.” It’s a love ballad that gently seeps into your heart.
