Speaking of BEGIN, they have classics like “Shimanchu nu Takara” and “Koishikute,” but what’s your favorite song?BEGIN is a three-member band, all from Okinawa.
Their break came when they appeared on the TV show “Miyake Yuji no Ikasu Band Tengoku” (aka Ikaten), which helped ignite Japan’s band boom.
At the time, they performed “Koishikute,” which later became their debut single, and received rave reviews.“Nada Sousou,” sung by fellow Okinawan artist Rimi Natsukawa, was composed by BEGIN.
