Let me hear your voiceBIGBANG

Released in 2009 as their third single in Japan, “Let Me Hear Your Voice” also drew attention as the theme song for the drama “Ohitorisama,” starring Alisa Mizuki.
The lyrics depict someone thinking of a lover who is far away—or has gone far away—reminiscing about when they first met and imagining a future walking together, paired with a bright, refreshing sound that leaves a strong impression.
When playing it on piano, keep a forward-looking feel in mind: play the left-hand accompaniment lightly, and render the right-hand melody clearly with a clean tone.
FANTASTIC BABYBIGBANG

Released in 2012, FANTASTIC BABY has been called one of the biggest K-POP hits of all time.
Its club-ready, hype-inducing sound and lyrics packed with catchy, sing-along phrases make it irresistibly addictive.
For many, this is the song that defines BIGBANG.
While the upbeat vibe might seem at odds with the classical timbre of the piano, if you play with a rhythmic, tight, and sharp touch, it surprisingly comes together without feeling out of place.
Don’t worry about the occasional wrong note—just let loose and play with all your energy!
Still LifeBIGBANG

Released in April 2022, “Still Life” marked their comeback after four years.
The title means “Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter” in Korean, and the lyrics thoughtfully mirror the changing seasons with the repeated encounters and farewells of life.
While there are some rhythmically intricate passages, the song has a relatively narrow vocal range and a relaxed feel, making it quite approachable on piano.
The rap sections feature repeated notes; be careful not to let the tempo rush forward.

BAD BOYBIGBANG

“BAD BOY,” a track from the 2012 album ALIVE, is a song noted for its beautiful melodic line and sophisticated atmosphere.
It’s a poignant love song that portrays the feelings of a man who pushes his girlfriend away because he can’t be honest.
Many people have likely experienced losing someone important because they couldn’t express their true feelings or even apologize.
While playing the sweet, gently enveloping melody on the piano—a sound that captures the frustration of knowing you’re in the wrong yet being unable to be straightforward—it might be a good opportunity to face your own honest feelings.
LIESBIGBANG

Released in 2007 before their major debut in Japan, “LIES” is regarded as one of BIGBANG’s signature songs.
It’s a poignant love song about realizing the importance of a loved one only after losing them.
Beginning with an intro marked by a lonely, piano melody, the song carries a sorrowful atmosphere throughout that evokes a sense of regret.
It’s perfectly suited to piano performance, which can beautifully express delicate, fragile tones.
With many repeated chords and a relatively narrow range, it’s approachable even for those who aren’t yet comfortable with two-handed playing.
LOSERBIGBANG

BIGBANG’s classic hit “LOSER,” released in South Korea in 2015, gained explosive popularity when the Japanese-language album including the song was released in 2016.
It’s a massive hit, with the official YouTube video surpassing 250 million views.
Many listeners relate to the lyrics that portray the loneliness of youth.
However, despite the feelings of solitude and emptiness expressed in the words, the melody and overall sound give off a warm atmosphere, which keeps the song from coming across as harsh—one of its defining features.
Enjoying a performance with a piano tone that pairs well with this quality may gently ease the sense of loneliness within you.
SOBERBIGBANG

Starting with an impactful intro that uses the chorus melody, “SOBER” is a track released in 2015, the year their world tour—drawing around 1.5 million fans—kicked off.
Its slightly languid sound, brimming with BIGBANG’s signature vibe, perfectly matches the lyrics that portray being unable to do anything, singing lines like “I can’t live without you” and “I don’t want to be sober right now…” Since the song has few changes in tone or rhythm, try adding exaggerated dynamics or intentionally placing strong accents in time with the beat to keep it from sounding monotonous!
