A magic trick where a simple mark surprises your audience: a moving X.
All you need is a water-based pen and an oil-based pen.
Draw an X on your palm with the water-based pen, and another X near your wrist with the oil-based pen.
Then, with your arm facing up, show your palm to the spectator.
At this point, the X near your wrist isn’t visible.
Next, wipe the X on your palm with your finger and slide your finger along your arm until you reach the X near your wrist—done.
Afterward, let the spectator check that it’s not a sticker or anything like that.
The magic trick where a thumb is severed
The thumb-detachment magic trick—something almost everyone has tried at least once.
You place the index finger of one hand over the thumb of the other, then move your hands just right so it looks like the thumb has been cut off.
The thumb that’s “cut off” is bent at the first joint so it can’t be seen from the front.
Then you wrap the “cutting” thumb around from under the index finger you placed on top, making it look like everything is happening with a single thumb.
Flexibility in the joints is key, so practice regularly to keep your fingers nimble!
A magic trick where the hand passes through the torso
A terrifying magic trick where a hand appears to pass through your own body at maximum fright level.
You hold a board with a round hole in front of your body.
Then, unbelievably, a hand appears from that hole! The shocking sight makes it look as if it pierced straight through your body.
In reality, the hand holding the board is a fake, and you’re actually putting your own hand through the hole to make it look like it’s passing through you.
The body you see beyond the hole is an illusion created by attaching paper or fabric the same color as your clothes, making it seem like your torso is behind the board.
Practice how you hold the board and how you bring the hand out of the hole so you don’t give the trick away!

One of the classic magic tricks, ball manipulation, is sure to get the crowd excited.
Ball manipulation is a type of magic where you make silicone balls vanish and appear, or switch them for balls of a different color.
By the way, the formal name for the prop is “ball manipulation.” You can find them on online stores, so feel free to search around.
The feel and handling vary by product, so it’s important to find the one that suits you.
Hands flip over? Magic that makes you want to rub your eyes
Simple yet highly impactful, here’s a magic trick where your hands seem to flip inside out.
There are two main steps.
First, put your hands together and interlace your fingers.
At this point, keep the fingers of one hand straight while bending the fingers of the other.
Then, when you turn your hands over, switch which fingers are straight.
That way, it looks like there are no nails visible from either side.
It’s a very simple trick, but even up close people likely won’t notice.
Try to move as quickly as possible.
Magic trick of inhaling a pencil through the nose
