[B’z’s Popular Songs] Introducing Hit Tracks and Beloved Hidden Gems for Fans! (21–30)
BLOWIN’B’z

Included on the 1998 album “B’z The Best ‘Treasure’.” Used in a Calbee “Potato Chips” TV commercial.
A two-member music unit formed in 1988.
The song’s title came from Inaba’s impression after hearing a piece composed by Matsumoto—he imagined “it’s like the wind is blowin’…”.
It’s a cool, fast-paced track with a strong rock flavor.
Don’t Leave MeB’z

Their 14th single, released on February 9, 1994.
Personally, it’s one of my top favorite songs by B’z.
I feel that Inaba’s voice in this era was huskier than it is now.
Because it’s a mid-tempo track, his vocal sustain sounds all the more outstanding—truly gives me goosebumps!

ARIGATOB’z

It starts quietly as a ballad and, though it shows intensity at the end with a rocking riff, the song as a whole feels very cohesive and dramatic—you can sense the craftsmanship of professional songwriting.
In the music video, the scenes of just the two members performing in a hall are striking, conveying a sense of resolve about what it means to be B’z.
One unwavering thingB’z

Among B’z’s songs, mid-tempo ballads hold a more important place than the public might think, and there are many masterpieces—this song being one of the most famous.
Used in a crucial scene that brings the film to a close, it served as the theme song for Detective Conan: The Private Eyes’ Requiem.
Incidentally, Inaba has said this song’s guitar solo is his favorite.
core; crux; heart (of the matter)B’z

A track whose distinctive guitar riff in the intro sticks in your ears.
It features a striking contrast: a heavy, slow-tempo, dark verse and pre-chorus give way to a refreshingly bright chorus, then drop back into weighty melodies again.
The way the guitar riff is used is highly effective, making it a potential model for composition.
Pleasure ’91 ~Life’s Pleasures~B’z

Included as the B-side of B’z’s eighth single “LADY NAVIGATION,” released on March 27, 1991.
Rock! That one word says it all—this is pure rock! Blazing momentum, powerful and beautiful guitar, vocals that unleash tremendous energy, and lyrics that rock too! It’s a track that stirs up so much power, you’ll feel like you’re about to burn out!
ONEB’z

Among B’z fans, many would probably say this song is number one.
It’s one of B’z’s signature ballads—a tender, moving track that wraps you up and gives you the strength to rise again and again.
You can really feel the powerful message that no one is ever alone.
