Songs I'd like to listen to while camping: Jazzy BGM (1–10)
Narrow DaylightDiana Krall

Diana Krall is one of Canada’s leading female jazz vocalists.
She also shines as a singer-songwriter, scoring hits with both covers and original songs.
Among her works, a track I particularly recommend is “Narrow Daylight.” Although it’s crafted as a slow jazz piece, it doesn’t evoke a nighttime mood; instead, it carries a relaxed, early-morning atmosphere.
How about listening to it on an early morning at a campsite, coffee in hand?
Better DaysAoki Karen

When it comes to the appeal of camping, many people probably picture setting up base and cooking meals.
Those are certainly highlights of the experience.
However, we shouldn’t forget about the time before going to sleep.
Since it feels different from your usual bed, many people want to drift off as relaxed as possible.
For those folks, I recommend the song “Better Days,” sung by Karen Aoki.
The calm atmosphere created by slow jazz will help soothe your mind.
Midnight 510Karumera

Calmera is one of Japan’s leading instrumental jazz bands.
Like a crossover act, they often mix elements of rock and pop into jazz, making their music approachable even for those who don’t usually listen to jazz.
Among their works, a track we especially recommend for camping is “Midnight 510.” With its brilliant, festive melody, it’s perfect for lively nighttime fun with friends.
Be sure to check it out.
Ain’t Misbehavin’Carmen McRae

Carmen McRae was one of the most prominent female jazz singers of the 20th century.
If you listen to standard jazz, you probably know her as a famous vocalist alongside Ella Fitzgerald and Sarah Vaughan.
Among her works, the track I especially recommend for camping is Ain’t Misbehavin’.
Although it’s arranged as slow jazz, the melody has a cheerful vibe, making it perfect for evening chill time.
Dream a Little Dream of MeMichael Bublé

Jazz isn’t as popular today as it used to be.
Although these are tough times for jazz, there are artists who are achieving worldwide success.
One of them is Michael Bublé, who sings “Dream a Little Dream of Me.” His voice has a popular appeal reminiscent of Frank Sinatra.
The song is arranged as a relaxed slow jazz number, which pairs beautifully with Michael Bublé’s warm vocals.
Wouldn’t it be perfect for a leisurely moment after dinner at the campsite?
Quizás, Quizás, QuizásTonina Saputo

The classic song “Quizás, Quizás, Quizás,” composed by Cuban songwriter Osvaldo Farrés, is known as one of the Cuban music pieces that became a worldwide hit.
It’s said that a direct factor in its global success was the cover by jazz vocalist Nat King Cole.
Its stylish, mellow, and distinctive sound—a blend of Latin music and jazz—perfectly suits the atmosphere of an evening at camp, so be sure to give it a listen.
I Love You For Sentimental ReasonsLaura Fygi

The jazz standard “I Love You for Sentimental Reasons,” released in 1945.
Nat King Cole’s cover is the most well-known, becoming a global hit with its gentle melody and masculine lyrics.
This time, we’re featuring the version by Dutch singer Laura Fygi.
Her rendition carries a sultry, nighttime vibe.
Perfect as post-dinner background music at your campsite.
