We’d like to introduce a card that reveals an unexpectedly large flower when you open it.

Prepare four sheets of origami or construction paper in different colors and patterns.

Draw a circle that fits on the paper and cut it out.

You can use a plate or similar object as a template.

Fold each circle and cut it so it becomes a heart shape.

Using turtle and crane stencils, you can add color with pastels to the base paper or colored paper where you’ll write your message.

If you also tint the entire card and base/colored paper with pastels, you can create a soft, gentle atmosphere.

Here’s a simple but super cute birthday card with candles.

Prepare a white card and cut five pieces of your favorite washi tape to stick on.
