Cero’s classic and popular songs

I’d like to introduce some songs by the band cero, who seem to embody “stylish pop.” With three main members and many supporting players on brass and chorus, their sound is richly layered and brimming with engaging details that keep listeners’ ears entertained.

Many of their tracks are exceptionally soft and easy on the ears, making them a great recommendation when you’re feeling tired.

It’s a song that makes you feel like you’re listening to folk music from overseas.

It’s included on the album “POLY LIFE MULTI SOUL,” released in 2018 by the Tokyo-based band cero.

The curious rhythm draws you in before you know it.

If this were playing in your room, people might think it’s pretty cool.

A city pop-style track with a soft rock feel.

The drum part is fully programmed, using Roland’s TR-808 favored by hip-hop artists.

It evokes a similar sensibility to Marvin Gaye’s R&B approach, where he incorporated an inorganic machine groove to enhance a mellow sound.
