Lovely cheer song

An anthem to support childcare that I want to dedicate to moms and dads. Inspiring classics and popular songs that keep you going.

Introducing uplifting songs we want tired moms and dads to hear!

Kids can be demanding, they don’t listen… Parenting can make you frustrated, and sometimes it brings you to tears.

Caring for a newborn or a toddler in the “no” phase can especially make you feel like, “I’m the one who wants to cry.”

When your emotions are unsteady, you might find your tone getting harsh or that you scold too much—and then blame yourself afterward, don’t you?

In those moments, try leaning on the power of music to take a little breather.

Remember the moment your child was born: “Thank you for coming into this world.” “No matter what happens, I’ll protect you.” Those feelings will come back to you.

Try listening together with your child.

A supportive playlist for moms and dads: inspiring and popular parenting songs (21–30)

BelieveChe’Nelle

One of the signature songs by Che’Nelle, a singer known for her beautiful, powerful, and straight-reaching vocals.

Many of you may have heard it, as it was the theme song for the film “BRAVE HEARTS: Umizaru.” At first glance, the lyrics may feel like a love song to many listeners.

However, it can also be interpreted as a song about the bonds between friends, and its message can even be applied to the love between parent and child.

It’s a song that helps us rediscover the miracle of a parent–child encounter and the preciousness of each other’s existence.

Chris Hart, who obtained Japanese citizenship to express his gratitude to Japan and strengthen his bond with the country.

His rendition of “Inochi no Riyuu,” a song by Masashi Sada, has such a comforting tone that you can listen to it forever.

When I listen to this song, I feel encouraged, and the tears just start to flow naturally.

I especially recommend it to dads and moms working hard at parenting—listen to it when you feel like you can’t keep going anymore.

When you’re overexerting yourself, you can end up scolding your child more harshly than you mean to, and then blaming yourself.

At times like that, this song reminds you to cherish your own life, too.

Singer-songwriter Takaya Kawasaki, who makes waves with catchy J-pop.

You might know him from TikTok, where his song “Mahou no Jutan” (Magic Carpet) went viral among younger listeners.

Among his works, the song I especially recommend for expressing gratitude to fathers and mothers is “Boku no Kimochi” (My Feelings).

Kawasaki himself is a father of one, and the lyrics are crafted with moving, true-to-life realism.

Be sure to give it a listen.

A gem of a ballad born from the collaboration between MISIA—renowned for her voice overflowing with kindness and love—and GReeeeN.

It expresses deep affection for a loved one through a warm melody and lyrics that resonate with the heart.

The song carefully portrays how a beloved person grows larger in one’s heart, the joys and sorrows that accumulate as you spend time together, and the mutual care you share.

Since its release in August 2018, it drew attention as the theme song for the TBS Tuesday drama “Stepmom and Daughter’s Blues,” and topped the Oricon digital singles chart for three consecutive weeks.

It’s a wonderful track that stays close to you in moments wrapped in happiness, or when you want to convey your feelings to someone special.
