Easy Christmas craft ideas to enjoy with kids! Make them with everyday materials (11–20)
miniature wreath

A miniature wreath that’s perfect as a Christmas tree ornament or a gift.
Using a binder ring, pipe cleaners, and jump rings you can get at a 100-yen shop, you can make it easily.
First, wrap a pipe cleaner tightly around the binder ring.
The key is to wind it carefully so there are no gaps.
To add volume, wrap two pipe cleaners, then attach another pipe cleaner threaded through a jump ring.
If you have decorative materials, thread them onto the pipe cleaner at this stage.
You can also add variations by wrapping another color of pipe cleaner over the top or using a glue gun to attach a ribbon.
Once that’s done, it’s complete.
Try making items with themes like trees or snow to give it that festive Christmas feel.
Christmas bells with Santa and reindeer
How about making a handmade Christmas bell that’s perfect for a Christmas party performance? It would be lovely to enjoy a recital using bells you make together with the kids! First, glue the Santa face and hat pieces onto a sheet of construction paper cut into a half-circle.
Next, roll the paper into a cone shape and secure it with clear tape.
Thread a pipe cleaner with a bell on it up through the bottom of the cone and out the top, then twist it into a loop to finish.
By changing the paper colors and parts, you can also create designs like reindeer or Christmas trees.
Christmas lantern

A Christmas lantern that brightens up Christmas night with vivid colors.
First, cut the clear sheet so that, when assembled, it forms a cone like a Christmas tree.
Draw any designs you like on it with a pen, then apply colored cellophane (neo-cellophane) to add color.
We recommend combining various colors of cellophane.
Once you shape the illustrated clear sheet into a cone, the base is complete! Put a light of your favorite color inside, and you’ll have a sparkling lantern.
If you choose a light color that pairs well with the cellophane you used, both the drawing and the colors will really pop!
reindeer headband

A reindeer headband perfect for Christmas or recitals! First, let’s make the base of the headband using construction paper.
Cut the paper into a long strip to fit the shape of the head, then glue two layers together for reinforcement.
Next, cover it with black construction paper, roll it into a curve, and let it dry for a day.
This will add a rounded shape to the previously flat base so it can fit on the head.
Once it’s dry, attach reindeer antlers made from construction paper and colored paper to the base—and you’re done! Beyond reindeer, you can use your imagination to create all kinds of headbands.
Wreath made from fabric scraps

How about making a Christmas wreath using fabric scraps from masks and wire or colored cords from the 100-yen shop? First, make a ring about 18 cm in diameter with the wire.
Next, wrap the colored cord around the wire over and over.
Tie the ends together at the start and finish, then make another small loop to form a handle.
After that, tie your favorite fabric scraps or ribbons onto the cord.
Finally, round off the tips or adjust the length of the scraps.
If you also decorate it with wire-made ribbons, you’ll have a more festive wreath.
