Handmade Christmas Snow Globes (11–20)
Shaking Snow Globe in a Clear Cup

A Santa snow globe that’s perfect for December childcare and recreation activities.
It’s a Christmas craft that’s fun to make and to play with.
Cut construction paper to create parts for Santa’s hat, face, and beard.
Decorate the eyes and nose with pens or stickers, then attach them to a clear cup using double-sided tape.
Decorate the container with masking tape and add torn pieces of paper inside.
Cover the top with a circle-cut piece of origami paper and tie it with twine to finish.
This adorable snow globe expresses the scattering of snow by tearing paper and tape and shaking the cup.
Cut-and-paste snow globe

Let’s make a snow globe that’s cute to display and cute to shake.
Use a compass to draw an inner and outer circle on construction paper, then cut slits toward the center.
Cut out and remove the inner circle, join the edges with tape, and form a ring that will be the base.
Apply double-sided tape to the ring and attach plastic film over the top.
Carefully trim any excess plastic with scissors to finish the base.
Add cotton or Christmas flake stickers as you like to create the snow globe’s scene.
By changing the color of the outer rim and the types of stickers, you can complete a one-of-a-kind snow globe.
Dinosaur Snow Globe

Many children love dinosaurs, don’t they? Some probably have lots of dinosaur merchandise, too.
So let’s make a summer vacation project using dinosaurs: a snow globe in a glass container filled with liquid laundry starch (or school glue) and purified water.
Use a hot glue gun to attach a dinosaur figurine to the inside of the glass lid.
Be careful when using the glue gun, as it gets very hot.
Pour the laundry starch (or glue) and purified water into the container, then tint it with paint in your favorite color.
If you add glitter, you’ll get a sparkly, authentic-looking snow globe.
Close the lid and turn it upside down, and you’ll have a beautiful snow globe with a dinosaur inside.
Snow globe made with shrink plastic
A snow globe made with shrink plastic sheets that lets you easily create original designs.
Draw Santa or snowman illustrations on the plastic, then use a hot glue gun to attach them to the jar lid.
Add star-shaped ornaments and small decorations, and pour in water and liquid glue at a 3:7 ratio.
Finally, decorate the lid with masking tape to finish.
The drawings on the plastic sway inside the snow globe, creating a warm, cozy atmosphere.
The high degree of freedom is the key point—you can enjoy a design that suits your taste.
It’s also a fun handmade Christmas activity to do with family and friends.
A snow globe where the snow swirls when you blow on it
A snow globe that looks like a plastic cup packed with a Christmas scene—the mechanism that makes the snow swirl is charming, isn’t it? Use a cup with a lid, place a seasonal background around the cup’s sides, and set an illustration of the ground on the lid.
Next, make a small hole near the base on the side—just big enough for a straw—put paper inside to serve as snow, and close the lid to finish.
Blow through the straw inserted into the hole to enjoy a winter scene with snow dancing up.
If you place small toys inside, it becomes even more fun, and the way the snow swirls will change, so it’s highly recommended.
Snow globe made with styrofoam
A snow globe made using polystyrene foam is an eco-friendly idea that uses recycled materials.
First, cut polystyrene foam and transparent origami and place them in a cup to evoke snow and ice.
Use a hot glue gun to secure the base and small objects to the rim of the cup.
A helpful tip is to apply hand cream so the foam doesn’t stick to your hands while you work.
Because it’s made with lightweight materials, it’s easy for children to try.
Not only can you easily create handmade Christmas decorations, but it also reuses waste materials, making it an environmentally friendly project.
Handmade Christmas Snow Globes (21–30)
A snow globe with a snowman inside
A snow globe with a snowman is an easy way to enjoy Christmas.
Cut Styrofoam into round shapes to make a small snowman and glue it to the bottom part of a plastic bottle.
Add small amounts of cut-up paper towels, glitter, and holographic confetti to create a magical, snowy scene.
Finally, pour in water mixed with a little liquid laundry starch to finish.
This snow globe is lightweight, easy to carry, and turns out adorable.
Drawing a face on the snowman and decorating the plastic bottle are also recommended.
