Merrily Hamtaro Christmas is sung by Hamtaro, Ribbon-chan, and Oxnard from the Sunflower Group in the anime Hamtaro.

The song expresses how the hamsters feel with Christmas just around the corner, depicting their adorable antics as they run around and decorate the tree.

Set to a four-on-the-floor dance beat, the bright strings and synth tones convey a sense of excitement, making it a true anime song.

Flying-in Santa Claus

This song is brimming with humor about Santa running a little late.

Released to the world in 1958 as “Donde Esta Santa Claus,” it has been beloved by children for years thanks to its lively rhythm and catchy melody.

It’s perfect for Christmas parties, where everyone can sing along joyfully to the rhythmic music.

It’s also handy for parents and teachers when preparing for the holiday season.

With its friendly, easy-to-sing tune, it helps create a festive atmosphere at home, too.

For small children, Santa Claus is such a mysterious figure! Here’s a fun song about that wonderfully mysterious Santa.

There are parts where the same lyrics are repeated many times, but if you sing those with expressive emotion, the kids are sure to love it! The words used in the lyrics aren’t difficult, so it’s also great for singing along together.

While many songs are about children waiting for Christmas and Santa, this one is about Santa himself looking forward to Christmas.

He’s washing his trademark outfit and making the sack for the presents.

Since most of the lyrics are made up of onomatopoeia, it’s easy to remember and sing! It’s a Christmas song I highly recommend for kids.

Silent Night

Silent Night, Silent Night, A Song of Memories 04
Silent Night

It is a Christmas carol composed in Germany.

This Christmas song is known in Japan as the classic “Kiyoshi Kono Yoru” (Silent Night).

The English lyrics are relatively simple, so it might be a good idea to practice singing it to become more familiar with English.

All people, gather together (Hymn No. 112)

"From 'Christmas Songs': 'Joy to the World' and 'Silent Night'"
All people, gather together (Hymn No. 112)

The English title “Joy to the World! the Lord is come” is actually a different set of lyrics (original title: “Hark the glad sound! the Saviour comes”) set to the tune of the well-known Western Christmas carol “Min mina yorokobe” (All People Rejoice).

The tune is said to have been arranged in 1836 by American sacred music composer Lowell Mason, who extracted and adapted a melody from the choral sections of Handel’s oratorio Messiah.

The Twelve Days of Christmas

Twelve Days of Christmas with Lyrics Christmas Carol & Song
The Twelve Days of Christmas

It’s common to receive Christmas presents only on Christmas Day, right? But this song is about getting presents every day for twelve days starting on Christmas.

What a song to make kids jealous! It might be fun to sing it while imagining how nice that life would be.

By the way, the gifts include birds like partridges and turtle doves, as well as nobles, pipers, and more.

Twelve days after Christmas, on January 6, is Epiphany, a Christian feast, and the twelve days leading up to it are considered Christmastide, celebrating the birth of Christ.

Perhaps that’s why so many gifts were given to mark the joyful event of Christ’s birth!
