At Christmas events, stamp rallies are often held, aren’t they? So why not plan one for your Christmas party by setting up Christmas-themed spots? If you want to add a game-like element, you could intentionally keep the locations secret and have guests “search for _____,” like a treasure hunt.

If you prepare treats such as candy as a reward for collecting all the stamps, it will surely become a memorable and wonderful Christmas party.

Karaoke with Christmas songs only

At Christmas parties, people often enjoy karaoke.

But the usual karaoke can be a bit boring.

How about limiting it to Christmas songs? There are so many to choose from: the children’s songs “Jingle Bells” and “Awatenbo no Santa Claus,” Tatsuro Yamashita’s “Christmas Eve,” and Mariya Takeuchi’s “Suteki na Holiday,” famous from the KFC commercials.

It’ll be fun to see who sings what!

Write point values like 10 points, 20 points, etc.

on a base decorated with an illustration of a Christmas tree, and attach cut paper cups underneath as catch trays.

When you play, toss a light ping-pong ball upward from below and try to land it in a tray.

If the ball lands successfully, you earn the points written on that tray.

Decide how many balls each player can throw and compete to see who scores the highest.

If you use balls in Christmas colors, they might look like ornaments when they land in the trays, which could be really cute.

Santa fell down

The rules are the same as the regular “Daruma-san ga koronda” game, but instead of the It person saying “Daruma-san ga koronda,” they say “Santa-san koronda” and you play that way.

It would probably be exciting if someone among the participants is dressed as Santa.

An arrangement where everyone protects Santa, who brings presents, also sounds fun.

Kids who manage to tag the It person might enjoy receiving a small gift.

If everyone is in costume, you could also switch the phrase to something related to those costumes.

Santa Claus is a character that could be called the very symbol of Christmas—just seeing that fluffy red outfit is enough to spark excitement.

This event features Santa Claus appearing at a Christmas party to take commemorative photos.

Since there’s a high chance people will recognize a familiar person in disguise, it’s recommended to have someone less likely to be identified play the role.

Having someone from overseas portray Santa makes it feel more authentic, and children might even believe he’s the real Santa Claus.
