ANIMAReoNa

A sharp-edged sound and vocal pierce straight into your ears.
It’s a song by ReoNa, a singer from Kagoshima Prefecture, released in 2020 as her fourth single.
It served as the opening theme for the anime Sword Art Online: Alicization – War of Underworld.
This grand number wraps its powerful, high-pressure sound image in the timbre of strings, and just listening to it is enough to move your heart.
The lyrics, which call on you to pursue your own truth and principles, are also undeniably cool.
Crimson Lotus FlowerLiSA

A number by LiSA, one of the queens of anisong and also called a rock heroine! It was chosen as the opening theme for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, based on Koyoharu Gotouge’s original work.
True to LiSA’s image as a singer of rock-style anime themes, this song features a driving rock melody and powerful vocals.
Reflecting the story of fighting to turn a sister who became a demon back into a human, it’s a fast-paced and strong track.
LionMay’n / Nakajima Ai

The opening theme of the anime Macross Frontier, which is set on the super long-distance immigrant fleet Macross Frontier traveling through space.
It’s a duet by May’n, who performs the singing parts for the in-anime character Sheryl Nome, and Megumi Nakajima, the voice actress for Ranka Lee.
The lyrics depict a love triangle that follows the story of the anime.
Although the two are at odds when it comes to love, they deliver a truly beautiful harmony.
Frenzy Hey Kids!!THE ORAL CIGARETTES

This is a rock tune by THE ORAL CIGARETTES, who have increasingly been headlining major rock festivals.
It was chosen as the opening theme for the battle anime Noragami ARAGOTO, which features Japanese gods.
From the mysterious guitar in the intro, it pulls you right into THE ORAL CIGARETTES’ world! And the chorus, where emotions explode all at once, feels so good that you can’t stop looping it.
The rhythm is so fun it makes you want to dance like crazy! It’s awesome!
silhouetteKANA-BOON

The opening theme of the anime Naruto Shippuden, based on Masashi Kishimoto’s work, which was serialized for a long time from 1999 to 2014 and became very popular! It’s an energetic, fast-paced song that’s quintessentially KANA-BOON.
The melody leaves a strong impression, even moving you by the end.
Incidentally, this was KANA-BOON’s first anime tie-in song.
