[Masterpiece Tracks Assembled] A Collection of Cool Anime Songs Chosen by Anime Fans (41–50)
PrayTommy heavenly6

It’s the first opening theme of the anime Gintama.
While the series has many comedic episodes, Gintama also sometimes makes you cry and shows its characters being really cool.
This straight-up rock number perfectly fits that image.
It was released in 2006 as Tommy heavenly6’s fifth single.
RealizeKonomi Suzuki

It’s a hard rock number whose string timbre creates a grand atmosphere.
Sung by Konomi Suzuki, a vocalist known for numerous anime theme songs, it was released in 2020 as her 18th single.
The track was chosen as the opening theme for the second season of the isekai reincarnation anime Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World.
The powerful sound pairs perfectly with the lyrics’ resolve to face adversity, making it deeply moving.
And the guitar riff is insanely cool.
If you want to fire yourself up, this is a must-listen.
silhouetteKANA-BOON

The opening theme of the anime Naruto Shippuden, based on Masashi Kishimoto’s work, which was serialized for a long time from 1999 to 2014 and became very popular! It’s an energetic, fast-paced song that’s quintessentially KANA-BOON.
The melody leaves a strong impression, even moving you by the end.
Incidentally, this was KANA-BOON’s first anime tie-in song.
LionMay’n / Megumi Nakajima

The opening theme of the anime Macross Frontier, which is set on the super long-distance immigrant fleet Macross Frontier traveling through space.
It’s a duet by May’n, who performs the singing parts for the in-anime character Sheryl Nome, and Megumi Nakajima, the voice actress for Ranka Lee.
The lyrics depict a love triangle that follows the story of the anime.
Although the two are at odds when it comes to love, they deliver a truly beautiful harmony.
Ultra☆Super Dragon SoulTakayoshi Tanimoto

This is a song by Takayoshi Tanimoto, irresistible for its dynamic sound and powerful vocals.
Featured as an insert song in episode 41 of the anime Dragon Ball Kai, it serves as Son Goku’s theme song.
“Go beyond your limits and become stronger!”—it’s packed with a fiery message.
It ignites the listener’s fighting spirit and gives the courage to face any challenge.
It’s a motivational anthem that gives you a push when you need to take that one last step.
Revolutionary DualismNana Mizuki × T.M.Revolution

A collaboration number between Nana Mizuki, the queen of the anison world, and the equally popular T.M.Revolution! It was used as the opening theme for the anime Valvrave the Liberator.
This dream collaboration was also performed at the 2013 NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen.
Though both singers have very distinctive voices, they don’t clash; instead, they bring out each other’s individuality and create a beautiful harmony.
It’s just incredibly cool!
Ephemeral yet eternal sorrowUVERworld

It’s the opening theme song of the anime Mobile Suit Gundam 00.
It was released on November 19, 2008 as UVERworld’s 12th single.
The opening visuals of the anime match it well, and the vocalist’s voice is distinctive.
