This is a single released in 2006 by KAN, the pop singer-songwriter famous for “Ai wa Katsu.” It features a gentle sound centered on piano and guitar.
The song overlays a couple who had a quarrel with a pot of curry that’s been left to rest, and the lyrics are truly wonderful.
When you live together, little things can turn into arguments and you end up missing each other’s feelings, right? KAN’s warm, heartfelt words and the comforting “curry rice” that seems to reconnect your hearts really sink in.

Included on the 2012 debut single “Okome no Ohanashi / Curry Rice School.” The music was composed by actor and musician Shuji Kashiwabara, and the lyrics were written by Yoshimi Tokui of the comedy duo Tutorial.
Aiming for kids to “enjoy their meals without being picky,” the lyrics weave in a recipe—keep an ear out for that.
Sacchan’s Sexy CurryOmori Seiko

It’s a nostalgic piece that makes you unable to help but think of friends or someone you once loved who are far away.
It’s a song by Seiko Oomori, a singer-songwriter from Ehime Prefecture, released as a single in 2015.
It was written as the ending theme for the anime Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma.
The lyrics, which recall memories of playing with Sacchan and reflect on how she’s doing now, feel somehow bittersweet.
