Dancehall reggae classics. Recommended popular songs (41–50)
Don’t TestJunior Tucker

Junior Tucker is a reggae singer from Jamaica—a name many of you might recognize.
His career started very early, and with his release Happy at the age of seven, he gained popularity as the so-called “Michael Jackson of Jamaica.” He continued to attract attention with numerous works, achieving worldwide recognition.
One of his hit songs, Don’t Test, helped drive strong sales for the album of the same name both domestically and internationally.
Dancehall reggae masterpieces. Recommended popular tracks (51–60)
Ghetto Man SkankToyan

Toyan is one of the artists who supported the early dancehall reggae scene, a popular singjay known for his rugged, deep voice.
This track, built on the kind of minimal riddim typical of early dancehall, is also one of Toyan’s signature songs.
Dancehall QueenCrew 7

Not only does it feature rap that’s quintessentially reggae, but the melody is also very beautiful, making it a dancehall reggae track I recommend for those who want to truly savor the music rather than just get hyped.
Another highlight is the many beautiful women who appear throughout the music video, so I highly recommend enjoying it together with the visuals.
We Are One (Ole Ola)Pitbull & Jennifer Lopez & Claudia Leitte

This track, which became the official song of the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, is a reggae tune created by Pitbull featuring big stars like Jennifer Lopez.
Its catchy lyrics are part of the appeal, making it a dancehall reggae song you’ll want to listen to while following along with the words.
NookieJamesy P

Jamie P is a reggae musician from Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, a very small island nation in the Caribbean.
His song “Nookie” is one of his hits, showcasing classic, high-quality reggae that rivals the best from Jamaica.
Because Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is part of the British Commonwealth, he managed to reach as high as number 14 on the UK charts despite being a relatively underground artist.
Beautiful lifeSasha Lopez feat Tony T & Big Ali

The memorable hit song “Beautiful life” stands out for its cheerful sound.
A collaboration between Sasha Lopez, an artist from the Republic of Moldova, Tony T, a UK-based rapper and DJ, and Big Ali, who is active in Paris, the track lands somewhere between reggaeton and reggae.
Since Tony T is also active as a DJ and took part in the collaboration, I decided to present it as dancehall this time!
Dance Hall FeelingTenor Saw

When it comes to dancehall, I think many people picture Tenor Saw.
He was a reggae musician who was active in the mid-1980s and laid the groundwork for making Jamaica’s dancehall a global phenomenon.
However, in 1988 he was the victim of a hit-and-run in the United States and passed away at the young age of 22.
Because of that history, he is now regarded as a legend.
His classic track “Dance Hall Feeling,” as the title suggests, is crafted in a quintessential dancehall style.
