Simple magic tricks using rubber bands: 10 tricks to try for parties and performances (1–10)
A magic trick where you pass a ring through an object

There’s a magic trick where you pass a rubber band through a borrowed ring, with effects like cutting the rubber band and restoring it into a loop, so there are various gimmicks packed into a short routine.
The procedure has a few more steps than usual, but once you memorize it, anyone can do it.
Please refer to the tutorial video.
Rubber Band Through (Magic Trick)

An amazing magic trick where two rubber bands crossed so they shouldn’t be able to pass through each other end up slipping apart.
You show that they won’t come off this way or that way, giving examples of how they can’t possibly be undone—and then they suddenly come apart, so the audience is easily fooled.
Practice a bit so it doesn’t get noticed when you separate them!
The knot in the rubber band teleports.

Imagine you’re holding a rubber band—cut at both ends and tied into a loop—stretched between your hands.
Suddenly, you chomp down and eat the knot.
You can see the blue knot inside your mouth.
But the moment you spit it out, the knot is back where it started! All I did was use the rubber band’s snap-back to reveal something I’d hidden, but it’s truly astonishing.

A rubber band that snaps on in an instant (onto a smartphone, etc.)

Why not try an amazing rubber band magic trick? Simply place a rubber band lightly on top of a smartphone, and in an instant it mysteriously wraps all the way around.
The charm is that anyone can enjoy it easily using everyday items.
Perform it in front of friends or family and you’re sure to see surprised faces—it’s also a perfect conversation starter.
Even after you learn the secret, you might be impressed by how simple it is.
Practice it in your spare time and show it off at parties or events—how about giving it a try?
Rubber Band and Coin Magic That Defies Gravity

I’m going to show you a magic trick where a five-yen coin climbs up a rubber band slope against gravity.
For this trick, you need one rubber band with its loop cut and a single five-yen coin.
Thread the coin onto the rubber band, and first let the audience see the coin slide down by gravity.
Next, demonstrate it defying gravity.
The secret lies in how you hold the rubber band.
It looks like you’re holding both ends, but in fact, on the lower end of the slope you’re gripping the band with a little extra length beyond your fingers.
From a slightly stretched state, gradually loosen your grip so the band retracts, making it look like the coin is moving upward by itself.
It’s very simple, so give it a try!
A magic trick where a rubber band turns into a star shape

Rubber bands that are already shaped like stars, hearts, or animals are sold, and this trick uses a star-shaped rubber band.
With a star-shaped band, you can first form a star figure like string figures before showing it, and then at the end relax the band to reveal the star shape, which creates quite a strong impact.
A magic trick where a rubber band passes through

This is a magic trick where two rubber bands looped on your fingers seem to pass through each other in an instant.
There’s no gimmick in the rubber bands themselves—the secret lies in how you set them on your fingers.
At first glance, it looks like there’s one rubber band on the index finger and ring finger of each hand, but in fact it’s also hooked onto the middle finger.
By releasing the middle finger, the rubber bands appear to cross or separate.
The key to this trick is how naturally you can finish setting the band onto your middle finger when you put the bands on your fingers.
Once you get that down, the rest is easy, so practice it repeatedly.
