This is one of the signature songs by Namie Amuro, a singer and dancer who has long been beloved and who announced she will retire next year.

It’s become a classic at weddings, so many of you have probably heard it.

It’s also easy to sing at karaoke and always a crowd-pleaser.

This song could be considered representative of ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION.

“Rewrite” might be more famous, but in terms of how easy it is to sing, “Kimi to Iu Hana” takes the lead.

It may be a little less well-known, but it feels great to sing.

For karaoke, you can slot it in anywhere except at the very beginning.

LOVE PHANTOMB’z

LOVE PHANTOM is not only one of B’z’s signature songs, but also a quintessential representative of 90s J-pop.

Its strikingly poignant lyrics and the grand orchestral prelude leave a lasting impression.

It was also used as the Japanese theme song for the international TV drama The X-Files.

This is a song by Miyuki Nakajima that Kazutoshi Sakurai of Mr.Children covered with BANK BAND.

It’s easy for both men and women to sing, and it’s often used on TV, so it’s quite well-known.

I recommend adding it to your karaoke set from the middle to the latter half.

GOFLOW

FLOW 『GO!!!』(Music Video Short Ver.)
GOFLOW

It’s a hit song by the popular rock band FLOW.

The band is often associated with anime tie-in songs, and this track is also well-known as an opening theme for the anime Naruto.

It’s an upbeat song that you can surprisingly power through on momentum, making it a great choice to hype up the crowd at karaoke.

Tomorrow never knowsMr.Children

Tomorrow never knowsMr.Children

Speaking of early Mr.

Children, it has to be this song.

I think even younger generations will go, “Oh, I know this!” as soon as they hear the chorus.

The key is a bit high, so many men might sing it a little lower.

I recommend putting this song toward the end of your karaoke set.
