World EDM artists. Notable Western EDM artists (1–10)
Don’t You Worry Child ft. John MartinSwedish House Mafia

Swedish House Mafia, the three-piece EDM group from Sweden that has practically become legendary.
It’s no exaggeration to say they helped ignite the EDM movement, and during their active years they grew to the point of headlining rock festivals.
Although they have since disbanded, all three members continue their musical careers and are still releasing hit songs today.
On My WayTiëst / Bright Sparks

“On My Way” is a single by Dutch DJ/producer Tiësto, released in February 2017.
It’s a house-style track created in collaboration with Bright Sparks, an MC from Glasgow in the UK.
The music video features YouTuber Hikakin appearing as a Japanese participant alongside people who seem to be Tiësto’s friends, and also includes footage from Tiësto’s tour.
The NightsAvicii

Who is the most successful artist in EDM? If we made a ranking like that, the Swedish superstar Avicii would undoubtedly land in the top three.
He brought a country music flavor into EDM, widening the genre’s appeal even further.
Yet behind that massive success, he became exhausted and retired from touring in 2016 at the young age of 27.
He created numerous hit songs, but “The Nights” is the one that encapsulates Avicii’s charm in a single track.
It’s a masterpiece that fuses lively acoustic guitar with EDM to create a distinctive sense of melancholy.
AliveKrewella

Although the EDM scene is largely male-dominated, the Krewella sisters are thriving as DJs.
Both have cute faces, but on stage they’re downright aggressive—standing on the DJ table to hype up the crowd and more.
While EDM often features guest vocalists, in most of Krewella’s tracks the sisters sing the vocals themselves.
Firestone ft. Conrad SewellKygo

Kygo, a leading figure in the tropical house sound that has attracted attention in recent years, hails from Norway.
While he employs warm, EDM-tinged beats and sharp synth leads, the world he conveys is pure melancholy.
As exemplified by the music video for his track “Firestone,” his music evokes images of a beach at dusk.
