Its popularity in Japan is tremendous as well, with numerous EDM festivals held across the country—from pop, accessible dance music that everyone can enjoy to more niche genres like house and techno.

In this article, we’ll introduce EDM festivals taking place nationwide.

This scene features many events that originated abroad, and it’s not uncommon for big-name international DJs to visit Japan.

At the same time, there are DIY events featuring domestic DJs, so find the ones you like and join in.
