mummy man

If you want to try a more authentic costume, how about going as a mummy? It’s a very simple costume, but since you have to wrap yourself all over with white bandages or cloth, it’s actually more work than you’d think.
If you’re using cloth, choose pieces with slightly frayed edges to make it look more realistic.
You can also add fake blood to make it scarier.
If doing your whole body feels like too much, just doing your face is fine.
Enjoy the costume, but be careful not to cover your nose or mouth, and don’t wrap it too tightly.
The world goes wah-ha-ha!

A song with a gentle vibe that expresses a smile with the whole body—perfect for a Halloween setting where you convey fun through your entire being.
Since the content involves moving your body broadly to a calm rhythm, you can feel the song’s comical world with your whole body.
The lyrics that depict smiles and playful expressions are also key to conveying joy, and if you consciously focus on your facial expressions, the sense of fun will be emphasized even more.
If squats are difficult, doing the moves while seated is also recommended.
Focus on your arms and move your whole body with intention.
Tonight is Halloween night

This piece portrays the lively atmosphere of a fun party held on Halloween night with a light, buoyant feel.
It centers on a steady, gentle rhythm that encourages step movements, making it a good workout for the lower body.
Another highlight is the energetic arm swings inspired by ghostly motions; relaxing your arms as you swing can also help promote circulation.
With its unhurried tempo and simple choreography, it’s something even people who aren’t confident at dancing can enjoy moving to.

prisoner

You might think, “A prisoner costume?” but it’s actually a classic and super easy option! When you think of prisoners, you think of striped clothing.
So just wearing a striped top and bottom completes the costume.
If you want to go the extra mile, try adding fake blood and other touches.
If you don’t mind makeup, zombie-style makeup is also recommended.
Looking a bit dirty rather than perfectly clean makes it more convincing, so try using clothes you don’t mind messing up for the costume.
Eyeball Milk Jelly

These slightly spooky eyeball milk jellies are perfect for Halloween.
Since you color them with shaved ice syrup, they’re easy for anyone to make—that’s part of the charm! Prepare two kinds of gelatin mixtures: one for the pupil and one for the sclera (white of the eye).
Pour a little of the pupil mixture into the molds and chill.
Next, pour the gelatin mixture colored with shaved ice syrup over the pupil and refrigerate again.
Finally, dissolve gelatin and sugar in boiling water, add milk to make the white-eye gelatin mixture, pour it into the molds, and chill until set—that’s it! It may take a bit of effort, but the surprising appearance might feel refreshingly novel to older adults.
Spider web decoration

Let’s enjoy Halloween decorations with a simple twist! Here, we’ll make a Halloween-style spiderweb motif.
It’s very unique and easy, so the process itself will be fun too.
How to make it: warm marshmallows in the microwave and give them a light stir, then pinch off a bit with your fingers, stretch it out, and stick it onto your favorite cakes or cookies—that’s it! Since marshmallows are white, we recommend choosing dark-colored cakes or cookies for contrast.
It might be something novel for older adults, but it’s sure to spark conversation thanks to this fun decoration!
Little Red Riding Hood

This is a Little Red Riding Hood costume, isn’t it? When most people hear Little Red Riding Hood, they probably think of the Grimm fairy tale.
The girl in the story wears a red hood, right? It’s a popular Halloween costume among girls and women who like cute styles, but why not encourage seniors to join in too and dress up with a sense of childlike fun? Just drape a large red cloth over your head and carry a basket with flowers, and you’ve got a perfect Little Red Riding Hood costume.
It’s an easy and highly recommended option!
