Mini bouquet from the mallNEW!

This is a mini bouquet made from pipe cleaners, recommended for seniors who love flowers.
Let’s make flowers using pipe cleaners in your favorite colors.
Create both the flower and the stem with pipe cleaners and assemble them.
If you spread open the petals, you’ll get an adorable flower.
Wrap the bouquet with lace-patterned paper sold at 100-yen shops and add a ribbon to finish.
Displayed in a senior’s room, it can become a charming accent that creates a lovely atmosphere.
It’s great to make yourself, and it would also make a delightful gift for birthdays or special occasions.
The Little Bear of the MallNEW!

Let’s try making a small bear using a long chenille stem (pipe cleaner).
Gradually bend and twist the stem, starting from the face.
Once the face is done, fold it about 2 centimeters down from the neck to make the arms.
After shaping both arms, fold the stem again to make the legs.
Watching it gradually take the shape of a bear seems like it would make the crafting process enjoyable for older adults as well.
It also encourages focused engagement with the project, doesn’t it? If you add a ribbon and eye parts, you’ll have an even cuter bear.
It would look nice attached to a bag or pouch.
A small New Year’s pine decoration at the mallNEW!

Pipe cleaners are also great for New Year’s decorations.
Let’s make pine, bamboo, and plum—auspicious plants for the New Year—and add them to a kadomatsu.
You create them by wrapping and curling the pipe cleaners.
While making these lucky New Year items, older adults can enjoy themselves and get plenty of fine-motor movement, too.
As you work, you might recall past New Year’s and year-end memories with family and have lively conversations.
A kadomatsu made with fluffy pipe cleaners gives off a cozy, heartwarming feel.
It could make a lovely interior decoration as well.
Sunflowers at the mallNEW!

Let’s make sunflowers that give you energy with their sun-like vibrance and brighten up your room! First, fold yellow pipe cleaners into petal shapes about 4 cm long.
Make 10 of these with yellow pipe cleaners and 10 with green ones.
Also, using green pipe cleaners, make 8 more of the same shape, slightly smaller.
Fold a brown pipe cleaner into a small accordion, then wrap it tightly around a wire, and start assembling by attaching each part to form a sunflower.
Finally, spread the petals outward firmly to finish!
Snail in the mallNEW!

A pipe-cleaner snail is an easy and enjoyable craft.
Moving your fingers helps stimulate the brain and refresh your mood, and it’s fun to get absorbed in the activity.
First, make two eyestalks by wrapping the end of a pipe cleaner around a disposable chopstick to form eyeballs.
Twist two pipe cleaners together.
Wrap another pipe cleaner of a different color around a chopstick.
After removing the wrapped pipe cleaner from the chopstick, thread it onto the end of the twisted pipe cleaners.
For the snail’s spiral shell, wrap the end of the pipe cleaner around the chopstick to create a spiral.
Adjust the shape, decorate with eye stickers, and you’re done! It’s easy to join in, so give it a try!
