Moving Anisong Masterpieces and Popular Songs (91–100)
Moonlight FlowerJanne Da Arc

The opening theme of the anime Black Jack.
It’s a song by the visual kei rock band Janne Da Arc.
The lyrics give an impression that evokes a sense of shadow, and I think it suits the image of the protagonist, Black Jack, the unlicensed doctor.
My friendZARD

It’s the ending theme of Slam Dunk.
The melody is very refreshing, and Sakai’s clear vocals are excellent.
The lyrics are simple and easy to understand, and they make you want to sing along.
The lyrics don’t have much to do with basketball, but I think it’s a song that feels very Slam Dunk.
Moving anime songs: masterpieces and popular tracks (101–110)
Two Shadowsriya

It’s a song used as an insert track in CLANNAD, and because it plays during the scene where the protagonist confesses to the heroine, it’s incredibly moving.
The lyrics are excellent, and they’re so compelling that you can get drawn in even without knowing the characters’ feelings.
It’s like a small light.Sayuri

A poignant song imbued with a message of seeking a light of hope even in the darkness.
Sayuri’s delicate, emotionally rich voice stirs the listener’s heart.
Released in February 2016, it was used as the ending theme for the anime ERASED (Boku Dake ga Inai Machi).
The lyrics, which sing of facing the past and resolving to change the future, mirror the protagonist’s emotions.
They portray a yearning for a warm place one wishes to protect, creating an appealing worldview where shadows and hope intersect.
It will be a gentle, comforting presence for those trying to overcome difficult times.
FIND THE WAYMika Nakashima

It’s the ending theme of Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny.
I originally liked the singer, and watched the anime later.
I especially like this song.
I was drawn to the gentle, clear vocals.
It carries the sadness and emptiness of war, yet it’s a song that brings peace to the heart.
A chorus of voicesShuhei Kita

It’s the opening theme of Natsume’s Book of Friends.
It’s a gentle, summery song that feels like you could cry just by listening, and you can sense the singer’s kindness.
Just hearing it warms the heart.
The singer hasn’t released many songs, but this one is a masterpiece.
YUME WeatherHitomi Shimatani

It’s the theme song from a Doraemon movie.
I was an elementary school student at the time and watched the film when it came out, and I remember bawling during the ending.
Shimatani’s gentle vocals and the wonderful lyrics really touched my heart and made me feel warm.
The lyrics are very straightforward, so I think it’s a song people of all ages, from children to the elderly, can enjoy.
