Teru's Song [Tales from Earthsea] (’06-07-28)
Teru’s Song Aoi Teshima

It’s an insert song from Studio Ghibli’s film Tales from Earthsea.

The lyrics were written by the film’s director, Goro Miyazaki, inspired by Sakutaro Hagiwara’s poem “Kokoro” (Heart).

Teshima also voiced the character Therru in the same work.

With a bell-like, beautiful voice, the song creates a world that feels like reading a fairy-tale story.

It’s an insert song from K-On!!.

In the final episode, the upperclassmen, including Yui, dedicate it to their junior, Azusa, and it’s a very adorable graduation song that’s truly moving.

Each member has their own solo part, and it really resonates with the heart.

It’s one of those songs I want to listen to every graduation season.

And nowAsami Seto

It’s the ending theme of Chihayafuru.

I can’t help but hear the two people in the lyrics as overlapping with Chihaya and Arata.

The lyrics feel like friends from our youth taking flight on their own different paths, and it really gives a strong sense of youth.

It’s a gentle, soulful song that I think sinks into the heart.

Coming to meet me through a secret door, Tamura Yukari

The opening theme of No-Rin.

It’s a cute, poppy song by Yukari Tamura, evoking the image of a girl in love.

I like the upbeat feel of the chorus.

Once you hear it, it sticks in your head and boosts your mood.

The lyrics for this song are also by Aki Hata.

Sailor Star SongKae Hanazawa

This is the opening theme of Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon.

Unlike the previous songs, it’s a bright, upbeat track.

Since the manga’s author was involved in the lyrics, it evokes the anime.

It’s a cheerful and positive song, so it’s one I want to listen to when I’m feeling down.

It’s my personal cheer-up song.
